Hi,
I'm really interested to here other peoples experiences with infertility? any success stories? I'm just going through the process of tests etc. which is stressful and draining but hopefully find the answers I need. I'm defiantly ovulating as I already had my first set of bloods waiting for my partners now. Advise and a chat needed :)

Natalie maybe they do have a target of sorts, try checking hfea site or nice(even though they don't have to comply with that)
You could plead confusion, see diff Dr say you were being referred and it hasn't come through yet.
(I think the appt can take a while to come through. But should maybe within 18 weeks, so if it's been a while no harm chasing

Shellster sorry to hear that you can't get any help off the NHS. I think everyone should get one free try tbh.
I've finally got my hospital
Appointment through so just need to go from there now and see what happens.

Thanks Nat. I have just had a counseling appointment at my new IVF clinic (a mandatory thing before we can do IVF here is Australia). I will see my new doctor next Tuesday. I am hoping she is good. I have done IVF 3 times before now and have done much research so I am not wanting to go in there and be told what they will do to me. Instead I want a doctor who will listen to me and respect what I would like. So we shall see. When is your hospital appointment? I am not sure how your NHS system works but from what I read on here, it sounds so slow.

Yh the nhs system is so slow in england, I just think they are useless tbh ha. I have a scan on 6th feb then my hospital appointment is 24th feb so still got a while to wait.

HELP! Does anyone have some Menopur I can buy off them today/ tomorrow? I am in Canterbury I can drive anywhere in England with cash if we can agree a price. I am undergoing fertility treatment from a clinic in Spain. They sent me a prescription which Asda got for me but today the clinic has emailed asking me to increase the dose even though I have explained you can't just pop to the chemist & buy it off the shelf especially when it's a bank holiday week-end!! Pretty desperate as have spent a fortune & will miss my window if I do not increase dosage. Please contact me if you can help a woman take her last shot at getting pregnant xx
