clomid success?

Hi, im on my second month of 50g clomid hoping it works this time, i have been trying to become pregnant for 2 years now i already have a 3 year old daughter and they are not sure why im struggling to become pregnant again. I would love to hear some good news about clomid i dont think i can take anymore negative tests :( The hospital have only given me 3 months of 50g and said if it does not work they wont give me anymore! so i dont no what they do next. i havent really had many side effects from it just headaches. If anyone can let me know there experience that would be great thanks

You never know ,when we're you due? I'm 8 weeks 6 days tomorrow xx I saw the little bean again last Friday ,so small xx got to wait till 12 weeks now till the next one ,if everything stays X so worried something is going to happen tho X

Hi Fingerscrossed, try and keep positive and enjoy the pregnancy, not far off 12 weeks now and then you get the next scan to look forward to x

KerryLou, when was your af due? Remember not all ladies get an early + result, depends on an individual's hormone levels at the start of a pregnancy. Here's hoping it's this month!

I'm on day 7 of my second cycle of clomid, 100mg this time. I've had twinges in my lower back so hoping my ovaries kick into gear this month, I didn't ovulate on 50mg. It's a 60 day cycle for me as I'm having to use Provera to induce a bleed before I start clomid, as I don't naturally have periods at the mo. It's starting to get me down as each time feels so long with no certainty of even ovulating.

What day did you girls tend to ovulate on clomid? Also did anyone else's appetite increase? I can't stop eating! X

Hi lottystar, i took clomid days 2-6 and ovulated on day 12 the lines were really faint, you really had to look close, to the point I thought I I'd missed it X but working back the dates it was defiantly day 12 for me xx Thank you for your kind words X It's just I worry about everything ,I think if my progesterone level didn't come back at 11 that month I would be a lot more relaxed X take care X

Hi Lotty. My cycle while taking chlomid has been 27 days, but I am now on day 29. I was feeling ovulation pain on day 25, was really bad. I took an ovulation test on day 26 and it immediately came up with 2 bright pink lines, pregnancy test on day 27 was negative.
I don't know what days I ovulated the past 2 months, I have no idea and I have no idea how to find out.
Really hoping something special is happening inside me xxx

Hey, just thought I'd add a note for those of u who don't manage to get pregnant on clomid.... I've just had my app at the fertility unit and will be starting IUI pretty soon! There's about 15% chance of getting pregnant so keeping everything crossed it might work!!

lonely- i did 2-6 and i think i ovulated cd 15. mine was luck since i was in hospital 2 days before.

im so nervous got scan on monday.. i have no symptons other than slight back ache and random cramps. so i really want to see it to know for sure.

fingerscrossed how are u keeping? when was ur first scan did u hear a heartbeat?

Hi kw87 ,I'm good thanks ,I had a scan on Friday 13th (of all days!) And it was amazing ,I saw the heartbeat and the lady printed a scan picture of gor me to keep :)
I know exactly what you mean about not having any symptoms all i have is the occasional cramp, nothing else ,no sickness X (I think we all just expect to have symptoms,) but the lady said to me everything looks great and not to worry, but off course I still do X How are you? How many weeks are you now ? X

fingercrossed. i am 6 weeks and 3 days. i have the scan on the start of my 7 wk so not sure if we will hear heart beat. when was ur first scan?

i know im so worried about something going wrong but i keep telling myself if it happened once it can happen again.

I had my first scan at 6 weeks and 3 days as I had a small amount of bleeding X they were able to pick up the heartbeat at the 6 week scan for me,so hopefully they will be able to for youxx they did warn me though sometimes they can't pick it up till the 8 week scanxxx I bet you just want Monday to hurry up X I'm wishing the next 3 weeks away to be honest X ;)

i know exactly how u feel. im travelling to see my parents in dubai on the 27th for 2weeks super nervous. i keep dreaming of twins! so really want monday to come.

Wow twins would be amazing X I went on holiday for a week and it was fine,just had to keep moving around X ;)
Have you told your parents or are you going to tell them when you get there X I couldn't wait to tell mine and I actually told them at 4 weeks xx they knew exactly how hard it had been and we're so delighted X are you on any other sites ?as I can't find any other ones to go on? X

No still nothing! I'm going to take another test tomorrow morning. I've been dreaming of positive pregnancy test and a beautiful baby boy.......but its on my mind all day every day so think that's why. Just a waiting game now xxx

fingercrossed i couldnt wait either told both sides as soon as doc confirmed it. they also knew how much we wanted this.

kerry this is a positive sign i dreamt of giving birth to a boy too and got a positive test 2 days later.

Ah fingerscrossed I forgot to say earlier that I took the test this morning, but of course it was negative. I'm at doctors next week so going to demand a scan to check that tubes aren't blocked.
I would like to keep in touch with you all too if that's ok?
KW, I really hope you are right. I've dreamt of a little boy a few times but I think its just because I was saying I would love a little boy (but any sex I would be happy with).
I'm feeling at the stage where I just want to scream! Havnt a clue what's happening with my body and there is nothing worse than not knowing what is happening with your own body

kerry, i know its hard and its easy said but try not to think about. i got preg when i stopped thinking about it and was going to stop clomid. its super hard but try.

it will happen, we want these babies so much and we will give them a great life so it will happen.
