I am still ill but improving. Was meant to go out in town but felt too ill. Annoying. Better to chill today and hopefully I'll be well by Monday. Seems we all have lurgy now eh? delilah and B hope you feel better soon.

I don't know if anyone will know but I'll ask anyway... If I had a blood test on the Friday and it came back normal like it did would that mean I ovulated the Friday before so 7 days before the test... Therefore I would be due AF on Friday (the one just gone) my question is does anyone know if my progesterone level would have been that normal if the test was like 6 or 5 days after ovulation?

Yes, it's likely you ovulated somewhere around 7 days before your blood test. Predicting af is slightly trickier unless you know your normal luteal phase length.
Sometimes they see a higher progesterone if you're pregnant but it can be a normal level and go on to see a bfp. I know you're trying to unpick your situation....I think the best thing would be to poas with fmu tomorrow if there's no af.
How do you feel in yourself?

Ps my progesterone sometimes came up as low when they took it 8+ days after I ovulated, harder to get mine right because my cycles were quite irregular.

Hmmm there's still no sign yet so the plan was to poas tomorrow anyway... Yea that's what I thought in terms of timing I'm not really sure as I've never done any of this naturally (release egg etc) I'll just wait and see I guess thanks for the quick reply

Feel alright in myself slightly sicky feeling that is constant but I have not been sick yet I just feel it a few cramps but not much to write home about... I'm sure AF will b here shortly hehe

Don't you just hate it when you're late? I was a few days late in November, thought I was going mad! Been regular as clockwork ever since...bizarre!

Yup it's a nightmare I'm sure I'll be hit hard by AF in the morning and then it will all come crashing down

How annoying. I guess it's back to the waiting game for you.
We have started packing ready for the house move. I now have a very satisfactory pile of boxes filled with books/DVDs etc, and I have also managed to half-fill our recycling bin with old paperwork and cardboard.
DH has taken down his surround sound and is polyfillering the wall prior to repainting it.

I have also done something naughty - ordered some test strips from eBay. I have coped without all this year, and the chances of getting a BFP are pretty minute, but I was browsing and accidentally hit the buy button

Still no AF not even a sign or anything slightly crampy this afternoon so have gone for a walk with the dogs and hubby try
to walk it off very tired tho only just got into the field hehe might phone the clinic tomorrow see what they say x

After being told that I would need to phone my Cons secretary when my three months waiting was up, I got home yesterday to a letter with new pre-op and surgery dates. And of course both dates are no good for me!
I was told that when I phoned she would have a list of dates to discuss with me, so yet more lies/miscommunication.
So i'm going to have to phone them today to re-arrange, and hope it doesn't mean an even longer wait. But first I need to phone the sec to check whether he can do my lap and dye while I'm on my period - because as well as clashing with other plans, it's also the day AF is due....
God this is so frustrating.

ok, I just read the paperwork I was given at my last pre-op, and it can't be done while AF is here. This does raise the question though - I was not told this in advance which means that you would accept this date if you didn't know otherwise!

Current NHS system is 'choose and book' Q so they offer you something and you have a choice as to wether you accept it. You should be ok to request another date, the question is what dates they'll offer you!
I am feeling rough with this infecting and have taken the day off work. I struggled to get out of bed. Well, to be fair, I'm still.under the duvet now!

I've just spoken to my Cons secretary. I have two letters with two different phone numbers on, pre-op for my site and actual op for yours faith. I got redirected twice, once to the wrong cons sec! I was told by waiting lists officer that my surgery date on their system was the 11th and not the 3rd.
When I got through to my Cons secretary she said that first it was the 3rd, then my Cons wasn't going to be in theatre that day so it was moved to the 11th, but now he IS in theatre that day so it had been moved back. I told her that as AF is due that day I can't have it and she sighed (it's not my effing fault you booked me in for surgery without phoning me first to check where I would be in my cycle)...she said 'we'll send you a new date' and I responded that it would helpful to discuss possible dates because I need advance notice so I can keep my diary clear/re-arrange existing committments/DH needs to book time off work. So now I have a provisional surgery date of the 24th April.

I've had choose and book before, where you get a form and password to log on to change it, but I haven't this time.

And I had to clarify that she would cancel these dates on my behalf. She was a bit vague. I hate speaking to her, she always sounds like it's such a bloody nuisance to have to fit around what suits us. I'm not being awkward it's their rules that say I can't have it when AF is in residence!

I think this is an important stepping stone isn't it? And a sign that they're taking things seriously.
The house is getting there. I think the destruction is at an end, you know, wall paper off, plaster off, walls knocked down, ceilings pulled down. Now we decided to rearrange the kitchen :) yay, I get the dining area I always wanted! So, the old kitchen door has been blocked up, the walls will be replastered, ceilings put back up and house redecorated then we can go home! Probably about another three weeks. I turned to DH last night and said I know I sound like a stroppy child, but I want to go home!
