He's a bit of a twonk really isn't he?

Ugly spat cut from talent show

No, Brian is a million miles from the lovely Michael.

Masterchef has gone the way of UK Pop Idol where it's all "I"m doing it for my dead mum".

But it's just cooking, just heating stuff or arranging it. Stuff we normal people do EVERY day.

I feel quite irritated about most things on TV though.

The one thing I do like about underbelly is the bloke who used to be in Heartbreak High.

How did that tiny little man win bachelor of the year? He is all nose.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 29/04/2010 06:07

God I'm bored today

ClaudiaSchiffer · 29/04/2010 06:08

Sorry, my last post sounded rude - I just meant that I have loads of work to do, but can't be arsed so enjoying chatting.

Ozziegirly · 29/04/2010 06:08

Me too. I'm at work and have done so little today it's shaming.

RIGHT. I will get back to it.

boredboredbored

brightongirldownunder · 29/04/2010 06:08

Oops - obv. I meant BRIAN, cos there ain't no brain!

Claudia you mean the guy who styles himself on Gok Wan?

brightongirldownunder · 29/04/2010 06:09

Bloody hell is that the time? I've got 5 hours work to do in 2 -I'm off!

ClaudiaSchiffer · 29/04/2010 06:10

Yup yup yup to Gok Wan. Hearts.

S'laters working girls x

differentnameforthis · 29/04/2010 08:04

"I have NO idea what is in it for her, I can only assume she lost a very serious bet"

Thanks...almost has coffee all over my desk at that one!

She also does some daft milk advert...poor girl, just has to keep selling herself...

Why is she famous, again?

I think more people know her brother than know her, tbh (he plays for SNAFL team, Central Districts)

thumbwitch · 29/04/2010 08:25

Ha! We've nicknamed him Gok Wan here as well

I can't stand BMcF - I wish he would just feck off back to Ireland, if they would have him. And that Kyle bloke thinks he's Simon Cowell - hahaha. Dannii - meh.

I did like that "she has lost a very serious bet" line - very funny!

Masterchef is all over the place - hints of The Apprentice, shades of The Restaurant (any of you seen that?) and touches of Hell's Kitchen all combined with that mad little fella who seems to have springs under his heels and a Gordon Ramsay complex. Still watching it but I wish they'd get on with the evictions!

I am a saddo who enjoys watching the carcrash tv that is Australia's Got Talent (did in the UK as well) but can't stand the judges (oddly enough, same in the UK as well!). BMcF seems to think he has to get on the stage at least once a show as well, just in case we forget he was once some kind of pop"star". Poor ol' Delta - bet it's her putting the brakes on, not him.

Ozziegirly · 29/04/2010 08:37

Yes, Masterchef needs to decide whether it's going to be Mr Nasty TV and deploy withering put downs or whether it's going to go the Pop Idol way and be all about the crying.

I think re Delta and Brain, that perhaps at one time it seemed like a good idea - she gets a foreign "bad" boy to sex her up a bit, and he gets an "in" to the Oz market.

But now it's just awkward and both bring the other down. Interesting that two C listers have combined to make a D list.

Oh, and HOW tall is the bloke judge with the hair on Masterchef?

thumbwitch · 29/04/2010 08:38

You mean Mr Creosote? In his impossibly white trousers? He looks like a Henley Regatta throwback.

Ozziegirly · 29/04/2010 08:40

He is a surprising looking man.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 29/04/2010 08:49

Ha to Mr Creosote . He is so, um, bulging.

Is he tall or are the others midgets?

brightongirldownunder · 29/04/2010 09:36

Shall we rename him Brain, Ozzie?!
Mr Creosote is of normal size, the rest are Lilliputians...he probably eats the people that are evicted - do you ever see them again?
I had a very disturbing dream with him and his white trousers the other day, it was so wrong...

Buddleja · 29/04/2010 11:42

nooooooooooooooooo don't get him to f* off back to Ireland - that's where I live!!!

He's such a twonk - you'd be hard pushed to find someone here that likes him - apart from his mother maybe - but that's one on four and a half million, making it a fairly low liked percentage really!!

The fat one out of Westlife who thought he was going to be wildly successful like the fat one out of Take That when he left (mind you I think he's a twonk too) who loves he's kids so much he moved as far away as physically possibly - next move will have to be the moon.

Do like the 'lost a serious bet' line - it will be making me giggle for a while yet!!

If her attitutde is "if you're able to dish it out you should be able to take it" then what's her problem.
They dished it out, she dished it out back, then they dished it out some more.
Just a load of people slagging each other.

jellybeans · 29/04/2010 13:44

Can't stand him and went off Delta when she dated him. What selfishness moving so far from his kids. I think they are delaying the wedding due to the potentially negative effects on her career and her family are probably against it.

thumbwitch · 29/04/2010 14:02

Not sure I should even bother mentioning this but did you see what he said about KK on his Twitter? Apparently he "said what he had to say" - FFS! No need for that at all. Especially about the mother of his children.

GetOrfMoiLand · 29/04/2010 14:08

Lolol at this thread.

He is a twat isn't he, bless him. what is he doing with hi life.

Lol at 'delta must have lost a great big bet'

Very funny MNers on this thread. Plus you have just sent me way back talking about Heartbreak High (Drazik). I did a thread some time ago reminiscing about brilliant Australian TV of times gone by.

thumbwitch · 29/04/2010 14:36

Heartbreak High - that's still on somewhere, you know. ABC3 I think. I remember watching it the first time around when Ada Nicodemou was in it (amongst others)...

GetOrfMoiLand · 29/04/2010 14:41

I bloody loved heartbreak High - it was my favourite. You have NO idea how glamorous it all seemed to english kids. All we had was Grange Hill, where teachers wore bow ties (Mr bronson).

I am reading all your posts in sarcastic australian accents and lolled

thumbwitch · 29/04/2010 14:47

ar, don't you be giving me an Ozzie accent just yet, young GetOrf! I haven't been here long enough to acquire one and kick myself if I accidentally do a dodgy "a" sound or add extra syllables to words. (the local accent around here isn't particularly pleasant...)

Buddleja · 29/04/2010 22:11

Oh Heartbreak High. it was just the best Grange Hill had nothing on it!!!!!

I don't have an Australian accent or an Irish one. I am usually quite often sarcastic though

OP posts:
Ozziegirly · 29/04/2010 23:54

I loved Heartbreak high - when Rivers had that affair with the teacher! Saucy!

Even my Dad would wander in and pretend to read the paper whilst secretly ogling Jodie.

Much better than Grange Hill.

Sazisi · 30/04/2010 18:59

Brian McFadden, for example, is a twat.

Sorry, always wanted to say that, it's probly passé now
