How sad. Sorry, I know there is a giant pencil involved so there is an obvious comic potential but that is so sad and desperate.

How does anyone sharpen a giant pencil so that it pierces the skin? And if he was using it for yoga he wouldn't have kept it sharpened anyway. There must be some doubt this was suicide surely?

But it would still be extremely odd. Why would you kill somebody with a giant pencil?

my cousins dad tried to kill himself with a pencil. two actually...

He was hospitalised at the time due to general mentalness brought on by the birth of my cousin. My aunt visited with newborn cousin and he got so jealous about the attention the baby received from his visitors that as soon as everyone left he stuffed a pencil up his nose and banged it against a table repeatedly until it had gone up as far as possible, then shoved another in after it and repeated the procedure.

luckily for him, possibly unluckily for the rest of mankind, he managed get the first pencil right between the two hemisheres of his brain and surgeons removed the pencils and he was fine.

Apart from using such a ridiculous implement to kill yourself this man must have been completely desperate.

I think it is very sad tbh, I can understand the ridicule (i too have dark humour) but his own family must be devastated.
