it is brilliant - we never usually win anything!
perhaps when the worlds eyes were on Live8 last weekend they saw just what we could organise?

But thanks for wishing us well in our shameless triumphal gloating. Going to tone it down a bit now.

emmatmg · 06/07/2005 13:08

My hands are still red and stinging from clapping them together so much.

Poor little ds3 didn't know what was going on, sprinted back from Ds2's nursery with the buggy, virtually threw him (with buggy) through the front door to get the TV on.

He then watched with a rather alarmed expression as I ran, jumped and screamed all over place.

God, I'm sooooooo pleased

RTKangaMummy · 06/07/2005 13:08

NUTTY no the sailing is in weymouth and so all around the country

like in Sydney it was all around the area {obviously a much larger country}

So am sure it will be all around the country

flashingnose · 06/07/2005 13:08

The UK has won. The UK will get fantastic facilities open to everyone. All British children could be inspired by this - if we let them.
