Mumsnet declares independence from internet

A shaken Gordon Brown revealed that when he met the mothers from Mumsnet, they held him in an armlock and smothered his face with organic manuka honey, screaming ?tell us your favourite biscuit or you die.?

?I told them Bourbon biscuits?, said Brown, ?but they didn?t believe me. It was as if I could give any answer and I?d be strung up by the balls. After what happened to David, I didn?t think I?d get out of there alive. The more biscuits I suggested, the less credible I guess my answer appeared.?

you know that is fake because we'd never forcefeed anyone with formula. only organic M&S carrot puree.

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 17/01/2010 12:28

Excellent. Was it you, MP?

AnnieBeansMum · 17/01/2010 12:29

Oh my gosh that's funny!! Although you couldn't pay me enough to get anywhere near Gordon Brown's balls. [shudder]

'Geek forums, however, have declared themselves happy at the declaration of independence, saying ?those mumsnet people scared the crap out of us?.

So, are we all actually getting boden balaclavas?
Do we buy our own?

tootiredtothink · 17/01/2010 12:54

I got my balaclava when I joined up - didn't you .

BratleyBackToNormal · 17/01/2010 14:09

No

But we have moved house a lot... maybe it got lost in the post...

Can I have another one?

Would have come in useful with all this bad weather we've had.

I have to point out a mistake . Forcefed formula but then breast milk in an intravenous drip? Make your mind up which milk it is!

And yes, you all should be scared. Just think, if Mnters were MP's how much we would get done.
