I didn't even know she was expecting again (I suppose I should have just taken it as a given!!!)

Hope the tiny little girl is a fighter

As much as I disagree with their lifestyle I hope she comes along safe and well.

Meglet · 12/12/2009 23:11

oh, that's really early. What is it in weeks, approx 26? Hope she's out of the woods very soon.

It has to be their last one now doesn't it?! I read that the mum assumed she was hitting the menopause, but turned out it was baby 19.

gigglebells · 12/12/2009 23:12

oh lordy, only due in march - that's very early...
poor little thing.

PacificMistletoeandnoWine · 12/12/2009 23:16

OMG, her due date is one week after mine...

Poor little thing, hope she will be ok as will her mum.

Also cannot help but hope that mum will consider some form of family planning in the future.

expatinscotland · 12/12/2009 23:17

it's her second emergency csection.

DollyPS · 13/12/2009 03:45

Didnt know that expat.

They will see this as gods way Pacific and so they wont consider any form of family planning.

expatinscotland · 13/12/2009 10:40

they won't stop until she reaches menopause or dies, an increasingly likely possibility with every pregnancy.

jellybeans · 13/12/2009 17:35

I think this is c section number 3 or 4. She was reportedly 25 weeks. Very early. I hope all is OK. If it was pre eclampsia then there is a high risk of it happening again.

I got confused as to what number she was on. Hope the tot pulls through okay.

littleducks · 13/12/2009 19:14

Im think she had one previous emergency caesarean, and another (couple?) of planned caesearns due to baby being breach/tranverse

PeedOffWithNits · 13/12/2009 22:50

Hope the baby is OK, poor thing.

Think the parents are barking mad though. Hope they count their blessings and stop having babies or one day they might all end up motherless. Why do women DO that to themselves.

Ozziegirly · 13/12/2009 23:47

Hope the baby is ok.

But 19 - and here's me seemingly unable to conceive even one.

Maybe I need to get along to church and start praying up a storm.

They don't claim to be followers of Quiverful.

Quiverful advocates actively having as many children as you can, eg monitoring your cycle and deliberately going for it at the right time.

The Duggars are more passive about it.

lovechoc · 15/12/2009 18:42

what a great excuse to be lazy about using contraception. think I may start going to church now...

FabIsGettingReadyForChristmas · 15/12/2009 18:44

Oh goodness.

I really hope the baby makes it and her mum stops having babies.

TheGoatOfChristmasPresent · 15/12/2009 18:46

freaks.

Hope the baby is ok though.

FabIsGettingReadyForChristmas · 15/12/2009 18:59

Definition of freak - a person or animal that is markedly unusual or deformed.

Morloth · 15/12/2009 19:06

My due date is March 18th. I hope she is OK.

It is very naughty that my first thought was "I wonder if they will go for a nice round 20?".

Freak .... what a nice word to use

DisElfchanted3 · 15/12/2009 19:40

'Freak' how horrid,
I hope they are both OK.

DisElfchanted3 · 15/12/2009 19:41

Are they allowed to avoid sex around ovulation?

sockmonkey · 15/12/2009 19:45

So tiny! Hope the docs are right and they both recover fully.
Can't imagine Mum getting much rest with 18 others to look after.
