i haven't even read the article, i swear i can't look away from her eyebrows

wowsers. you know, i look dreadful in the morning too, but i wouldn't allow myself to be photographed. what an odd mix of neurotic and conceited she must be to go for it. it actually makes me like her more, for some reason.

Lordy I'd never noticed how much she looks like the child-snatcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!

AitchTwoToTangOh · 20/11/2009 10:54

an undeniable resemblance

i snooooooorted at the candles as well. plus tbh she surely doesn't pay for these things anyway, i'd have thought she'd call them in frm the (i happen to know) very generous diptyque pr.

and the 'i grew up poor' argument makes we wretch

AitchTwoToTangOh · 20/11/2009 10:59

especially since she doesn't visit her mum. seven kids and they don't visit her, she once said. she really is a hard ticket.

I agree Custardo, you really can't claim your parents' hardships as your own. It is patronising.

SausageRocket · 20/11/2009 11:01

One week.

one week.

That is what she looks like after one week ?! FFS.

She is truly unreal. A different species entirely.

TheCrackFox · 20/11/2009 11:04

She couldn't even do one week as she had an overspend of £200.

upahill · 20/11/2009 11:05

TheCrackFox... That is excatly what I thought. She has only done a week for goodness sake!!!! And as for being £150k in debt how stupid!! I could understand many reasons for getting that much in debt eg your buisness collapsing or whatever but as she admits in previous articles she is in debt due to designer dresses and expensive candles and shit.

Flippin heck I can get through money but only once the mortgage, bills, kids and everything else is paid for first. The world is not going to stop turning because I can't get my highlights done or I have to shave my legs instead of waxing every now and again.

Daftpunk 'proves she's not shallow and conceited' Is that a joke?

By the way she is only 51. Apparently she told her now ex DH that she was somethinglike a decade or more younger and he believed it for years. I think that's a bit shallow and conceited.

ninedragons · 20/11/2009 11:11

She makes herself sound like a character from some second-rate Victorian novel. "I was profligate! Then my fortunes changed! I lived among the poor! The scales fell from my eyes!" yada yada boak.

On a point of accuracy, if she's paying an interest-only mortgage, she most certainly is NOT a home-owner.

Saucepanman · 20/11/2009 11:11

I was hoping there was a thread on this! Just read the article, she gets worse! Bat sanctuary, fgs??!

FunnyLittleFrog · 20/11/2009 11:13

So she looks that bad after just one week of not having super-expensive treatments?

Tortington · 20/11/2009 11:14

try sitting with quilts around you on christmas day becuase you can't afford to put money in the gas meter

or sending kids to bed early as you know the electric meter is going to go and you have no money LIZ

daftpunk · 20/11/2009 11:17

alot of women wouldn't allow themselves to be seen like that.....wouldn't bother me because i look like crap everyday...not even sure i know what grooming means.. is it having a shower and brushing your hair...?

that's all i do.

she's admitted she has a problem with money, i'm not sure why people get so worked up over her...rich people have always spent £££ on wine and candles....at least she's trying to sort herself out.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 20/11/2009 11:19

dp you are so cute.

Kaloki · 20/11/2009 11:20

I like the "poor people's grooming routine", I'm wondering why she didn't just refer to them as "the great unwashed"? The woman is nuts.

theworldsgoneDMmad · 20/11/2009 11:22

I haven't read the article as the photographs were amusing enough I did manege to deduce a lot from it though:

a) presumably marker pens are cheaper than eyebrow pencils

b) the stress of being "poor" for a week must have sent her insane, as I can see no other reasons for ripping up her trousers

c) someone should tell her that she's hailing a bus from the wrong direction!

daftpunk · 20/11/2009 11:25

oh god aitch...what does gooses mean..?

you know i'm not into sexual experimentation...

plus...meant to add..i only have a shower once a week, friday night usually, so you've caught me at a bad time....

Why was she out looking for sustenance when we all know she doesn't eat anything?

MmeLindt · 20/11/2009 11:31

What a slap in the face to people who truly have to live on £65 a week.

This self obsessed, crazy loon of a woman has no idea what it is like to be poor.

£800 for grooming? In 4 weeks?

MmeLindt · 20/11/2009 11:32

what is that about the bat sanctury?

Tortington · 20/11/2009 11:35

its where she lives

cocolepew · 20/11/2009 11:37

She must have the widest parting in the world

Stop with the hair dye or you'll go bald, Liz. (I won't charge for that grooming advice).

BurningBuntingFlipFlop · 20/11/2009 12:27

£100 Pm for broadband??

BurningBuntingFlipFlop · 20/11/2009 12:34

her cats eat cod? is she for real? or is this exaggerated?
