of molesting his son has killed himself 5 mths after his death. It is in the paper today.

Seems strange to me, maybe greed and guilt got the better of him?? sorry can't do a link!

you certainly sound bonkers enough

thesunshinesbrightly · 20/11/2009 14:00

DuelingFanjo · 20/11/2009 14:07

For all we know the suicide is completely unrelated to Michael Jackson.

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 14:17

lol anyfucker.

It does a bit

AnyFucker · 20/11/2009 14:33

how very odd

sunshine has appeared so normal on other threads....

perhaps the spirit of Miceal Mykel Micheal Jacko is speaking through her...

warthog · 20/11/2009 16:35

hmmm i have no problem following perfectstorm's logic.

bobbysmum07 · 20/11/2009 17:52

In the interest of justice, the following article says it all:

charlesthomsonjournalist.blogspot.com/2009/11/evan-chandler-suicide-higlights-media.h tml

perfectstorm · 20/11/2009 18:16

But... that article is written by one of his biggest fans. That isn't "justice" or "saying it all". That's as onesided as it gets. You're entitled to believe it, obviously, but you know truth is a defence to libel in this country... so why did the Jackson camp not sue over the repeated, detailed stories?

Michael Jackson found troubled little boys and swamped their parents with money so he could spend nights in bed alone with their sons. That doesn't strike you as in any way wrong?

bobbysmum07 · 20/11/2009 18:44

Facts are facts. The evidence against Jackson in the Jordan Chandler case was put before three Grand Juries. It wasn't strong enough to go to trial.

Jordan Chandler has been telling people for years that Jackson didn't touch him. Jackson's defence team had a long line of people ready to testify to this in his 2005 trial.

Finally, the Arvizo family were serial litigators who had made a career out of accusing people of child sexual abuse. This is a matter of public record.

I have no opinion on Michael Jackson sharing a bed with young boys. I don't think it proves anything one way or another. Odd perhaps, but not as odd as his poor, tortured existence.

AnyFucker · 20/11/2009 18:46

boobbysmum, you are also a deluded fool

bobbysmum07 · 20/11/2009 18:58

I'm not, you know. I'm the world's biggest cynic.

I just don't believe the evidence aginst Michael Jackson stands up to scrutiny.

AnyFucker · 20/11/2009 19:51

you don't think that a grown man sharing a bed with boys is in any way suspect ?

all-righty then

bobbysmum07 · 20/11/2009 20:05

I didn't say that. I said, I don't think it proves anything.

AnyFucker · 20/11/2009 20:57

so you don't "scrutinise" MJ's own claims (immortalised on TV) that he slept in the same bed as adolescent boys...

err, does that not require a good looking-at ?

which is exactly what happened

and MJ was "advised" to not allow wider "scrutiny", therefore paid off the families concerned

yep, he was innocent

perfectstorm · 20/11/2009 21:38

I don't think it deluded to believe him innocent, because after all he was never convicted and most of the evidence isnt available to us (though hardly anyone ever is convicted of sexual crime). It's a perfectly legitimate position, as long as you acknowledge that you could be wrong in thinking it - we could be wrong in believing him guilty too, of course. Basically it's a tragedy for those kids, either way.

tbh I only know a little about the whole thing because it was never of that much interest, but this:

"Jordan Chandler has been telling people for years that Jackson didn't touch him. Jackson's defence team had a long line of people ready to testify to this in his 2005 trial."

isn't really any kind of an argument. I read the same article, after all you linked to it, and it's just repeating rumour and hearsay by his openly admitted strongest supporters.

Look, his team can say anything (as can the other side, of course) after a trial, and none of it is provable. Doesn't alter the fact that his actions were dodgy, he never sued for libel despite extremely explicit claims, he seemed to find vulnerable kids with appalling parental relationships and get them to sleep in his bed (badmouthing the parents is not really a defence strength, given paedophiles tend to target precisely such kids for obvious reasons), 3 kids apparently said he molested them and were willing to be publicly named as homosexual abuse victims in a hugely public trial that would make them even more infamous than Monica Lewinsky - quite an incentive to deny everything - Jordy Chandler did make these claims to a psychiatrist as well as his father, Jackson's own sister stated he was guilty of child molestation, and I can't really see much way he was innocent given his behaviour and known predilections, BUT... his death was a tragedy for his family and loved ones, just the same. And this death is, too. I loathe the sentimentality over the one and the ghoulish gloating over the other - really distasteful and unpleasant. A youngish person killing themselves (with drugs, or a gun) is always a waste, and awful for the survivors who love them.

thesunshinesbrightly · 20/11/2009 22:46

Yes i am a big fan and i'm not ashamed too stick up for him he has done nothing wrong, i dont really care if you are calling me this and that, all i know is the poor man is at peace now away for the haters and the media the same people that built him up took him down, i could go through all the trials with you but i really cant be bothered with people who already convicted him even though he was found not guilty and believe what they want too believe.

thesunshinesbrightly · 20/11/2009 22:48

Michael Jackson found troubled little boys and swamped their parents with money so he could spend nights in bed alone with their sons. That doesn't strike you as in any way wrong?

GOD YOU ARE SO WRONG, IT'S PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT MAKE ME SICK.

Spidermama · 20/11/2009 22:51

I don't think it right to assume MJ molested anyone. You can't make any assumptions about a man who has had the sort of life and childhood (or lack of it) he had because he was very, very unusual.

Spidermama · 20/11/2009 22:54

Not that I want to make you sick or anything thesunshinesbrightly.

warthog · 20/11/2009 22:58

thesunshine, you haven't argued a single point that perfectstorm has made.

in fact your main point you make is that you can't be bothered to argue. yet here you are, posting again and again.

perfectstorm · 20/11/2009 23:34

Spidermama - I am aware he might not have done anything. Its just that a lot of what he is known to have done is absolutely classic for a paedophile; textbook, you could say. And it seems the most likely explanation in the circumstances, quite frankly. Horses and zebras, so to speak. The saddest thing of all is that those kids were definitely exploited by someone. And if he was guilty, in all likelihood everyone.

sunshine, do buzz off, there's a love. You keep swearing blind you'll go, you won't read, you WON'T LISTEN to THIS!!! Please, just adhere to that declaration? Your presence is not edifying, you're dropping the collective IQ by a painful amount, and I'm sure your time could be more usefully spent reading Eats, Shoots and Leaves. (No Jackson allusion intended. Honest.)

thesunshinesbrightly · 23/11/2009 12:17

Warthog, i really cannot be bothered argueing my point with any hater, not worth any intelligent disscussion.

Perfectstorm, i hope you sleep and feel so much better after your rant.

perfectstorm · 23/11/2009 18:15

You know, you're the only one shrieking, flouncing and using capslock around here, plus constantly threatening hysterically to leave and never actually doing so. I appreciate it must be very hard when surrounded by people so much more intelligent than you are, and that that throws you on the defensive, but you don't help yourself. You can't help being stupid, but you can help being graceless and ill mannered. Mumsnet requires either intelligence or grace; if you lack both, then your posting life here will be singularly lonely.

thesunshinesbrightly · 23/11/2009 18:18

Oh pleeeeease stop your making my sides hurt.

perfectstorm · 23/11/2009 18:20

You really do think online conversations are purely about insults, don't you?

Shame.
