Congratulations!

I have just read your story in the newspaper - here in Melbourne!!

You're international now!

JRocks · 01/05/2009 14:47

Congratulations pinkdolly and family! I'm local to you too, I expect to see you on the West Briton next week

duchesse · 01/05/2009 14:48
  1. Congratulations to you both
  2. Your little girls are beautiful- Titian beauties every one.
  3. I pmsl at your quote in the grauniad article: "Marc is one of those people who can put his hand to anything"

Thanx everyone- we have had a couple of frantic days here in the pinkdolly house.

We were on Jeremy vine and radio 5, dh has also spoken to local radion stations and locals new crews.

Actually we cant believe that this has gathered so much momentum! It isn't that rare for dh's to have to deliver their babies is it?

Dh is in the forces and it is them who contacted the media in the first place (they thought it would be good pr for them)

Am trying to decide whether or not to agree to doing an article with reveal aswell.

And Melborne- oh my gosh cant believe t got all the way over there!.

Thanx all for your kind comments.

Wow, I bet that was a shock. Well done Mr Pinkdolly.

I am amazed he looked at YouTube though because most blokes think they do not need an instruction manual or a map for any thing.

As Puppymonkey says I bet you were doing most of the actual work though.

Congratulations to you all!

hatwoman · 01/05/2009 15:01

what a lovely picture - what a good-looking family. many congratulations. dh delivered dd2. he said he found it less stressful than watching me in total agony in hospital with dd1.

PuppyMonkey · 01/05/2009 15:06

I heard you and mr pinkdolly - and the wee fella trying to get in while you were talking to Jezza.

MrsMerryHenry · 01/05/2009 15:10

Congrats Pinkdolly! (and what a lovely family you have).

But...what did he actually have to do? IMO you're the one doing all the work and he gets all the credit (well, the article was written by a man !)!

(oops!)

pinkdolly · 01/05/2009 15:13

lol ABetadad- dh shows far too much interest n these things for my liking. He has tried to get me interested in learning the rubiks cube and likes to try and explain everything to me.

I think I frustrate him slighty coz I am really not bothered in the slightest.

And yes it is Gabriel without the e.

lol @ "As soon as she dropped down I looked down and its head was sticking out"

Well done to you and DH

pinkdolly · 01/05/2009 15:15

Actually- re the whole giving birth it was so much easier then my other labours and the least painful by far. I'd much rather be in the position of giving brth then having to deliver the baby.

I dont think i would have been able to stay as calm as dh did.

OP posts:
pinkdolly · 01/05/2009 15:19

Hatwomen- congrats on your dh delivering your baby. So did you find that labour less painful aswell then?

many congratulations!

DisasterArea · 01/05/2009 16:49

Congratulations. What a beautiful family. Do you think I could just skip the next 18 months of student midwifing and just watch youtube clips?

AlistairSim · 01/05/2009 16:55

What a star!

I must say though, you do have unfeasably beautiful children.

Bleatblurt · 01/05/2009 17:14

You've never recently given birth!
You look very fresh faced and radiant! And about 12. I'm the same age and look like I could be your mother.

Well done your DH.

BCNS · 01/05/2009 17:22

Congrats!! Lovely family.. and well done mr PD for listening to instructions!!

MrsMattie · 01/05/2009 17:23

Congrats. So funny! Your DDs are adorable little munchkins! So pretty! And you do not look like someone who gave birth not long ago

pinkdolly · 01/05/2009 17:25
