Jade Goody's passed away

I can't actually believe she has gone, it doesn't seem very real yet.

I'm glad it was in her sleep that she passed, feels like it may have been peaceful and maybe no pain for her.
I am so sad it was Mother's day, I was only thinking yesterday that today would be her last one.
I feel a bit teary about it too which I didn't expect, it's just very, very sad and those two boys will grow up without her. I feel so sorry for her mum as well.
I always found her very watchable and entertaining.

I've shed a tear too.

RIP. I was never a big fan of her as a "tv celebrity" but her battle and her wish to do right by her boys made me like her. I lost my own dad on Father's day when i was 16, and even now, 21 years on, I still feel it, so for her boy's whatever date Mother's day falls on will always think of it sadly.
I hope now they get peace to grow up with their dad.

I must admit I have just turned 30 and never attended a smear, it really hits home how young this terrible disease can srtike.I for one am going to bite the bullet and book myself in next week,as I'm sure will many others.

oh dear, I feel so sad and upset about this. I know she made some mistakes and could be a bit of a loon, but I did find her endearing. It sounds peaceful towards the end, anyhow.

Im absolutely devestated for her two boys her mum and family her husband and her friends. I hope the boys get to say their last goodbyes and their mothers day presents and cards get put in her coffin for her. Will say a little prayer for them all today She was a very courageous young woman who made sure she learnt from past mistakes and put her house well and truly in order a sad sad day for all but hopefuly her passing wont be in vain we need to keep campaigning on her behalf for ourselves and our daughters

Such sad news - although not unexpected. She is my age and her 2 boys are v similar in age to my DS1 and 2. I do hope she is at peace now.

Whatever she has done with her life (and it will be dragged up in the media for weeks if not months) i hope it is her bravery and willingness to educate people about the realities of cancer that is remembered, not to mention the way she focussed all her remaining days on providing for the 2 people most important to her - her children x

I have shed some tears this morning. For Jade, her boys, my Nana who died of cancer too and when Max Clifford was talking on Sky News and was clearly tearful.

It sounds trite but I feel some comfort that she made ot to a bit of Mother's Day for her beloved boys and really they can take comfort from that one day.

Too young to die and too young to be without a Mum.
