What do we make of this, when I was at school our PE teacher was extremely positive about us all coming in different shapes and sizes and being healthy and fit not thin .
Does anybody else have little girls and feel very uncomfortable about a woman who is so utterly wrapped up in her own daughters pursuit of the "ideal" female image should be teaching girls at an age where they are so body consious ?
Apologies if it's in the wrong section I just honestly wonder how some people ever get into the profession and what their collegues make of them.

I am sure that there are some very good supply teachers out there but I think it speaks volumes that this woman is a supply teacher rather than employed full time by one school.

What a silly cow. Agree with Squonk - I would not be happy if my dd wanted to do this, even she paid for it all herself. I certainly would not encourage it! I feel sorry for the daughter a bit, as I think she is setting herself up for a big disappointment.

That is horrendous, she should be teaching (have taught) her daughter how to pay her own way and get on in life through her talents/qualifications, not funding a wannabe celeb lifestyle.
What a shallow, vacuous girl. I agree with Nab as well, lookswise, she really is not dissimilar to hundreds of girls out there.
Makes me laugh when all these girls say they are "models"

Well this is a publicity stunt to try to get the girl noticed, so it's going to be as tawdry as hell and completely exaggerated.

The thing that struck me actually was "Sitting in the living room of her £150,000 three-bedroom Sitting in the living room of her £150,000 three-bedroom home ? which hasn?t been decorated for 10 years" Surely not that remarkable?? It's another (IMO) insidious consumerist expectation, that we should all have fabulous houses that are completely redesigned every couple of years.

I'm sorry for the daughter, because the mother has brought her up to think that the only thing that matters is this particular kind of bimbo fame, so it's no wonder she's bought into it. Sadly her future probably holds some sort of substance abuse, a nervous breakdown, the tedium of rehab and an eternity working on a checkout somewhere.
