How stupid and insane are they?
And can I have an anti-censorship cookie with pornographic chocolate chips in, and a kinky milkshake please?

Loons

FAQtothefuture · 17/01/2009 13:37

ermmm right ok.

and I'm a pro-life for myself, pro-choice for everyone else kinda girl

but that is totally farking bonkers!!!

onager · 17/01/2009 13:40

I love it when they reveal their obsessions/delusions so publicly. I think I'll put a picture of a donut on my site just to annoy their kind.

Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 13:41

I want a doughnut now!

But only if it supports a woman's right to choose.

onager · 17/01/2009 13:42

FAQtothefuture, yeah it's fine to be pro-life for yourself. They are something else again.

edam · 17/01/2009 13:43

bloody hell, they bring 'hard of thinking' to a whole new level!

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 17/01/2009 13:44

Oh ffs! Are they serious? Surely this is some sort of joke? A spoof newspaper site or something?

It can't be real surely

Those people have disintergrated their brain cells with the consumption of too many Krispy Kreme's methinks.

shootfromthehip · 17/01/2009 13:47

How hysterically funny- are these people for real? Imagine being so paranoid that you start to read too much into free 'donuts'. Loons all of them!

Nantucket · 17/01/2009 15:05

This is uterly bizarre and loony.

But not all pro-lifers are loons shootfromthehip.

Many rationale, sane, empathetic people are pro-life.

There is an extreme, vocal obsessive side to the prolife debate, mostly in USA linked to the far right, but that is not true of all/most people who subscribe to a pro life point of view.

Just as far right christianity in the USA is not representative of all Christians. Thank God.

hippipotami · 17/01/2009 15:12

I don't get it??
These donuts are free to celebrate Obama's arrival at the white house, they even have sprinkles in teh colours of the US flag, but some how pro-lifers think they are pro-choice donuts? How did they arrive at that conclusion? Have I missed something??

Nantucket · 17/01/2009 15:18

Hippo, they said it's to celebrate Americas freedom of choice (amongst other things) which some nutter based group thinks is promoting abortion.

hippipotami · 17/01/2009 15:19

Ah okay, thanks nantucket...

thumbwitch · 17/01/2009 15:25

mentalists is right! paranoid, neurotic conspiracy theorist mentalists. Next thing you know, the word "choice" will be banned from all sorts of things in case the pro-life extremists take agin it.

harleyd · 17/01/2009 15:30

[flabbergasted]

you couldnt dream this stuff up
omg

FAQtothefuture · 17/01/2009 15:37

I keep going back reading that article again as I can't quite fathom how loopy some people are

RustyBear · 17/01/2009 15:38

Finished your packing, then FAQ?

FAQtothefuture · 17/01/2009 15:41

I have finished DS2/3's room and started on DS1's room. Even packed all the clothes that are waiting to be grown into into a large suitcase.

One more box (I think) to fill in DS1's room and then it's onto mine............

Nantucket · 17/01/2009 15:43

The Christian right in the USA (of which I imagine this is a part) are seriously loopy. And scary.

They seem to be constantly threatening people with going to hell, if they question creation or even for much less.

Always waving bibles at people with threats.

Anyone remeber a Louis Theroux progrma with a 'christian' family who spent their whole time on the street corners with abusive and rather graphic placards to tell gays ther were going to hell??

Fundementalism is scary, and literally, loony.

KayHarkerNeedsToSleep · 17/01/2009 16:04

sigh ffs. Pro-life mentalist here, but good grief. Donuts? Hello? 'Scuse me while I take some much needed medication to my over-zealous nutcase friends.

thumbwitch · 17/01/2009 16:07

KHNTS - no, we are not saying ALL prolifers are mentalists, these are the mentalist subgroup of the prolifers - so unless you agree with the donut thing, you ain't one of the mentalists.

shootfromthehip · 17/01/2009 16:18

Def not saying ALL prolifers are mentalists or 'loons' as I have very specific views about the issue myself BUT these people are nutters!

paolosgirl · 17/01/2009 16:32

Good to hear that you agree not all pro-lifers are loons!

But yes, this particular branch of the pro-life movement can indeed be called loony. The donuts do look mmmmmmm....

Nantucket · 17/01/2009 16:33

OK Shoot, I interpreted the 'loons all of them' coment as being all prolifers.
