Doesnt this sort of stink of hypercritism? when she said I wont comment until I speak to my 'agent' - was what she meant - I could make some money out of this - I know if every time I speak I have The Sun logo above my head I will bask in the glory?

Isnt talking about how rubbish RB is in bed stooping to the very level that we are accusing RB of? Will RBs granfather not have to read this article and will they not be upset? Sachs has been very dignified about the whole inccident though it has to be said.

Soph if what you say is correct it really puts into perspective the 'poor old man' thing doesnt it? AS worked with John Cleese - Monty Python did the Life of Brian for goodness sake - the guy knows how risque comedy works.

lots and lots of comedians say offensive (to many different people) things on the radio all the time.

why was this story picked up.

i'm sorry but this is just THICKNESS.

and i don't care if i'm offending anyone i'm incredibly frustrated at the level on intellectual capacity being demonstrated on this issue. i'm not talking about the feminists...i'm talking about people on here that are stubbornly refusing to see the influence of PR impresarios, and of the daily mail.

god ricky gervaise on xfm would have made your hair fall out if you think this was bad.

I'd say it was wrong if she didn't clear the routine with the man concerned first.

But also, there is a tonal difference between screaming 'he fucked your grand-daughter' on national radio, and what I assume was a reasonably warm-hearted fluffy routine about shagging a cast member of Balamory.

The story was picked up because it was Manuel FGS, poor harmless downtrodden Manuel. And his granddaughter who, for all the DM readers knew at the time, could have been 'Heidi' or 'Snow White'.

Because we didn't know at first that she was a 'Satanic Slut'. So that was why the story was picked up because we thought Manuel was hurt.

And now we do know that she is a 'Satanic Slut', some people are turning against her. But I'm not because it doesn't matter what she does, she could be Gary Glitter for all I care (ok, I may have gone a bit far there ) she doesn't deserve to have her private life offensively ridiculed on national radio. It is the principle of the matter.

Have skimmed the last few threads and JimJams post jumped out at me and I couldn't agree more.

GB has said the worst thing of all this was that her GF had to hear about who she had slept with. Well if that was truly the worst thing then surely she would not want to discuss this in more detail with the world?

Is it really ok to now make money out of all of this, really???????????? Isn't she just now lowering herself to their standards, and isn't that what started this all in the first place?

I'm not saying I think any less of her for making a fast buck, she can do what she pleases. I personally don't hold those that sell their stories in very high esteem. Think it's all a bit ewwwwwww for my liking.

BTW, what story is she actually selling - the details of her night with RB?
