DO you know what to do in the event of a fire?

Why would you run out without your kids I just don`t get it.
You would take them with you then scream for help.

It is a tragic story. We checked our smoke alarms as soon as we heard about the fire. I said to DH at the time I could never imagine leaving a burning building without my children. So, so, sad.

it is an awful story, she is now on bail. according to guardian the fire started while she was still in the house, so that is something.
i can't imagine why she was charged with neglect. i did hear they couldnt reach the latch - which didnt make sense in a 7 year old.

I read she was asleep and the boys died with their arms around each other. Heart breaking.

I have not seen the updated news but as son as the story broke i said that all was not right.
they said teh children were playing in teh cupboard under the stairs? well then how did teh mother get out of the front door without them and how come she was sat on teh floor crying and not trying to get help or get them out herself.
