no they cant, but she is a trainee nurse and they can refuse to train you if you are morbidly obese (which she looks). She wouldnt have put all that weight on in under three years surely??

She was actually only in there for 1.5 hours. It would appear that someone (the OP and perhaps the Sun) took her friend's 1.5 hour session into account and added them together, rather unfairly.

Nurses (I am one) often live very unhealthy lifestyles, which is partly blamed on the stress of the job and the unsocial hours. The majority of the team I am on are heavy smokers, lots of us over-indulge in alcohol. In our team we eat a lot of cakes etc. I am not saying this is right, just making an observation.

Im not suggesting that she lives of Tofu and lettuce in order to work in healthcare, I know that generally, a large proportion of the population (be it in healthcare or otherwise) eats shite. But pigging out on 7 pieces of greasy chicken and 3 bags of fries can hardly be considered a 'bit of a naughty treat' can it?

You have to have a good reason and request on headed paper and pay.

Insurers can do it to identify a third party in a road accident. I should imagine a car park operator has the same right.
