I totally agree with all those people who said that the fact that this was a 4x4 contributed to this tragedy. I long for the day when they are banned - they are utterly pointless vehicles, largely driven by utterly selfish people.

Exactly. Visibility from those things is very bad - particularly of anything at pushchair or toddler height.
