I went to Irish college with several members of a family who's mother had just given birth to her 20th child.

And I see from Friends Reunited that a woman I was at school with has 12 children.

One of my cousin's daughter's friends is one of six - the mother had one baby, then twins, then triplets and then decided to stop.

The Russian woman never had single births, but she had everything up to 4 or 5. I used to have an annual with her in it as a fascinating fact.
