A lot of 11 year old girls are pretty though aren't they? Because they haven't been through puberty so have flawless skin, flat stomachs, no hips etc... basically what the modelling industry want from 16+ year olds. But dressing an 11 year old like that is just wrong, that girls body will change and, although pretty, she isn't a model and will just spend the next 10 years fighting against adolescence - totally irresponsible by the mother imho.

why cant her mum let her be a little girl, because at 11 thats what she is.

I showed DH a pic of her and asked him how old he thought she was and he said 18 maybe 19. He was so shocked when I told him she is 11.

DH said no way will DD be looking like that at 11.

Its so sad, this girl should be having fun, enjoying being 11. Too much pressure for such a young girl. What a hollow existence I wore make up from age of 11 , but that was experimental, I had no intention of being sexy! I had no idea what it was!! I lived in jeans at this age. That little girl is clearly a pretty little thing - but not dressed up in that way. She would be lovely looking without all that make up, hair extensions and the like. Instead she looks like some bizarre ....well, I don't know. It is is just horrid.

I saw the wife swap programme and remember the little girl saying she got teased at school for all the san tropez tan and other things she has done.
She said that the teasers are jealous because they are ugly, and she doesn't have ugly friends.

The mother's desire to have a second stab at the industry in which she failed, is overriding her good sense as a mother. It is very selfish behaviour. There are no guarantees the girl will get any decent work in that industry let alone fame and fortune, what exactly will she fall back on then?

Plus there's only one Jordan, and that's Jordan! She has the X factor. You can't buy the X factor from a beauty salon.

Why be so proud of "dumb"? If, as they say, they are fans of Jordan they should know that Jordan is a canny businesswoman who is the exact opposite of dumb.

I dont understand mothers wanting to live vicariously through their children. They need to get a grip and come to terms with their own failings instead of trying to right it through their children.

The other thing is, when things do go horribly wrong and the daughter doesn't make it in the glamour industry, will her mum support her? Somehow, I suspect not.

You can almost imagine the 'I spent all this money on you and you can't even do x' type rows going on.

The poor little mite won't have anywhere to turn. By the time she leaves adolescence she'll have probably pissed off any child her own age by judging them to be less pretty than she is; fatter than she is, less orange than she is.

That's friends out of the equation then. Her mum will have to deal with her daughter's disappointment and her own. Will she try to continue the process by encouraging her child ot have a daughter so she can start again???

What she has done is to sexualise her little girl, that in itself is a form of child abuse - the same kind that has parents feed their kids obese, or neglect their kids. This is vastly different from little girls painting their nails (usually in wild different colours) and putting enough lipstick on they resemble the joker.

I hope she is very proud of herself. As a mother she should be ashamed but I doubt very much this concept would even enter her head.

This woman is always trying to get publicity for her children. She is in the papers regularly, enters both the son and daughter for beauty pageants etc
On the wife swap programme when the girl was about 8 , the daughter was complaining because the swap mum took her Wicked drinks away!

If she wanted a Barbie she should have got one instead of messing up her dd. Children these days grow up too fast anyway without parents like her making their kids look like mini adults.

I predict she'll lose her virginity at 12 to a 21 year old... and she'll end up marrying some rich old businessman who will get fed up of paying for her plastic surgery and will trade her in for a younger model after 10 years.
