Why are they all shouting "Shame on You" towards the police - when it was the RNLI who brought them all to shore?

Surly they should be shouting this towards the lifeboat crews....?

Who has said anything on this thread, favourable or otherwise, about the levels of immigration?

And small boats specifically, literally no one wants that to continue. Even people who might be in favour of totally open borders aren’t in favour of dangerous sea crossings.

That doesn’t mean that standing around shouting at RNLI volunteers makes you anything other than a complete cock.

I live locally and know most of the crew. I have name changed, but been on this site years.
The protestors are on social media naming the crew and publishing addresses. It’s absolutely disgraceful that volunteers who are caught up in all this are being doxed.

Shame on people disrespecting folks like my DH who volunteers for the RNLI and has saved many a life, earlier this year he saved 2 young children who were on an inflatable swan quite a way out to sea but yes shame on him for doing that and shame on me as I was an RNLI lifeguard and managed to save a few lives. Suggest you research the Penlee Disaster.

The reality is that harassing the RNLI is about as ignorant as you can get.

These tubby masked fools hardly look capable of saving their own lives, should any of them get into trouble at sea! Idiots.

That is nothing to do with the RNLI. They are not political, they are not employed by the government they just get people out of the water.

These groups of men in balaclavas are getting very bold and are very intimidating. They started off wearing face masks, having found this a convenient excuse after covid. It should have been nipped in the bud then and the issue of face coverings being used to threaten, frighten, commit crimes and assaults has got completely out of control, with police standing by while groups of men scream, shout and threaten others, particularly at women.
Now they are brazenly using balaclavas to shop lift, steal and race cars, steal and use electric bikes to intimidate drivers and block roads, race through families on pedestrian crossings. Nobody can do anything.

In both WW1 and WW2 the RNLI saved German lives at sea as well as Allied ones.
Some people complained about that at the time.

Fortunately active members of the RNLI are clearly equipped with a moral compass.
