Just reading this story and obviously being fucking sick of male violence against women, but also wondering what measly sentence will be handed out.

One has a murder conviction in Egypt that he hasn’t served time on and all three asylum claims are currently being appealed. I doubt we’ll ever find out if the appeals are successful, but my instinct is we are stuck with these men now. Depressing.

And I do not claim to be any more righteous than anyone else on this thread

You’re certainly not holding back with your patronising condescension 🤷‍♀️

You're definitely stuck with this guy. Wholesome and home grown.

I notice that posters think talking about white British rapists should be a Gotcha when I’m equally fucking sick of rapists of any colour and nationality. I’d happily watch any of them be castrated.

Edited

For the avoidance of doubt, I feel exactly the same.

Like other posters I understand that British men commit most rapes in terms of absolute numbers, however that as a “gotcha” misses two important points:

  1. Some groups of men who are not from the U.K. commit rape at a far far higher per capita rate

  2. Unlike rapists who are citizens we don’t have to accommodate those that don’t have an automatic right to reside here.

The fact that this is seen as a controversial position is depressing.

It’s reminiscent of the hiding of the Cologne attacks by mainstream media as it was awkward for their narrative. Then when the disgusting incident came to light a female guardian columnist actually intimated it was the women’s fault because the women who were attacked fault as they were privileged and the men were poor etc. Makes me sick and once you see that you can’t unsee it.

And the gotcha aspect “well it’s likely you’ll be raped/assaulted anyway… why are you being so awful when it’s someone not from the uk?! Thats just so judgemental of you!!”

🙄

And having travelled in Egypt as a young unaccompanied woman albeit dressing demurely believe me we do not want that shit culture over here. Never been more harassed in my life.

My friend and I ended up confined to our hotel room. I actually had travelled all round Mexico the previous year with not one grim incident. In Egypt it was literally every other man of any age hissing / spitting / grabbing / muttering obscenities. Disgusting country.

I remember you posting that on another thread a while ago. Utterly disgusting behaviour and a holiday you and your friend had paid for and likely saved up for completely ruined because of it.
