link

ok it is the daily mail /hello(whole thread on its own about their views on women) and it is a hello type article but it is quite pleasing to see someone looking normal/happy and healthy after just having a baby and being honest about her size etc.

Although the irony of the daily mail printing this after printing so many articles about how huge she was is a big or having different children by various relationships is

Malcolm?

Tortington · 17/06/2008 13:08

fkin malcolm?

edam · 17/06/2008 13:09

Malcolm? Wow.

Nice to see a celeb saying all this rushing to drop pregnancy weight thing is nonsense, though. But ouch at 'current husband', that is really nasty.

Rowlers · 17/06/2008 13:09

not just malcolm but malcolm monet
cruel, I say

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/06/2008 13:14

hideous daily mail couldn't resist the cheap old 4x4 thing

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/06/2008 13:14

actually, Malcolm isn't a bad name - I quite like it

stroppyknickers · 17/06/2008 13:19

Is Malcolm Swedish? (Being kind).

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/06/2008 13:20

Scottish I think

LadyThompson · 17/06/2008 13:23

Not keen on her. A friend worked with her and said she was a bully (hearsay, though, obviously) and furthermore, she has a tendency to slag off women who have had caesarians. Malcolm is a name more popular in the US and I think her new bloke is American

sophiajane · 17/06/2008 13:33

She looks beautiful but also feel she is not a 'woman's woman',if you know what I mean.

She was very spiteful about Nancy Del'olio (sic?) in print after her affair with Sven. The lovely (slightly bonkers) Nancy never rose to the bait...

Yes she is very anti C sections. Lucky her that that she hasn't had to endure 2 emergency ones...

Heifer · 17/06/2008 15:38

Does no-one else agree with me that she looks really different though? I am the only one?

Can't work out what is different but just doesm't look like her....

notwavingjustironing · 17/06/2008 15:42

Its the three inches of black eyeliner, a la Diana doing "that" interview I think that makes her look different.

poppy34 · 17/06/2008 15:42

her face is a bit rounder (natural pregnancy thing) and she looks like she has a lot of make up on (again hardly blame her as mum of a new born even if its called malcolm)

Great to see Bo looking so healthy and I did PMP about the 'current' husband caption.

sorry to post such a big section but I really liked this bit

Ulrika gained five stones in weight during her pregnancy: 'I had sizeable breasts', she said.

'I am an I cup since my milk came in ? but the point is that I am doing the most important job that any woman can do and I am very happy to give my body over to this wonderful process and very relaxed about taking time to get my body back.'

She added: 'Of course it's never nice putting on lots of weight but I feel very strongly about women who feel the need to slim down straight away and almost compete to try and get back to their size 10 within a week. It's not me and I don't think it's very natural.

'I'm happy to be called fat or weighty by the papers for the foreseeable future. I will get my body back but I will take my time. I am nearly 41 and have just had my fourth child.

'If my body doesn?t bear the hall marks of that, then what was the point of having the children? It might be harder to get back in shape this time but I am not obsessed about it.'

WendyWeber · 17/06/2008 21:50

I love that she told her DH that Malcolm wasn't going to be a wild success in the UK but they went ahead and did it anyway.

(Hmm - have we had any Malcolm threads on here I wonder...)

Heifer, I think it's because her face is still puffy - you can't see her bones.

Tinker · 17/06/2008 21:53

I thought the eldest boy looked like her "current husband" (nasty DM) too. Maybe she has a type.

Malcolm does look like a Swedish name though. Lol at stroppy's "being kind"

WendyWeber · 17/06/2008 22:02

This husband looks quite a lot like the previous one.

No 4, No 3 & No 1 all pictured here - they are similar

Never seen No 2 afaik, but his DD is a doll!

eenybeeny · 17/06/2008 22:03

I thought it was funny they called him her "current husband" - nothing like good old fashioned optimism!
