I thought Gloria Taylor's death and funeral got a fair amount of respectful coverage in the press tbh. Some of this might have been local press though...

there was a thread on here, that poor woman. i heard a really interesting interview with the boy that was with SL at the time of the attack on the radio the other day, poor lad has been shattered.

I've just watch the news and was so sad for the parents especially when his dad said "We've seen another side to Jimmy, perhaps ....that we didn't even appreciate and it was right under our noses. He was a dear, dear sweet young man."

And yet another person stabbed today in Oxford St.

Is it wrong to think that if a person committed an "adult" crime, like murder, they should be treated and penalised like adults?

I just listened to his older brother on Jeremy Vine. Reduced me to tears. That whole family is amazing. Such dignity in the face on such a horrific event.
