Hoping the BBC are just joshing with us...

OP posts:
policywonk · 02/05/2008 21:28

'He stands for hair and it's impact on global buffoonery' LOL

Surely he stands for a well-stocked tuck shop and ragging the master during prep

DefinitelyNotMARINAWheeler · 02/05/2008 21:28

MP, dig out an old bottle of Leichner electric blue

MerryMarigold · 02/05/2008 21:29

Show me a politician who is not a megalomaniac (especially once they reach any position of power). It's the nature of the 'calling'. Ken's just more upfront about it.

beansprout · 02/05/2008 21:29

It's like people in Chingford wanting to be in Essex. Marvellous.

MerryMarigold · 02/05/2008 21:30

beansprout, where d'ya get the results from?

DefinitelyNotMARINAWheeler · 02/05/2008 21:30

Pooka, I feel your pain
Bloody Garry Bushell lives down the road from us
They want to be in Kent so they can have green road signs and round up Trotskyites with pitchforks

nkf · 02/05/2008 21:30

That's the problem with Bromely. It's where Londoners who don't really like London live. I'm sure you're an exception though. [smille]

nkf · 02/05/2008 21:31

God bless Brent and Harrow.

pooka · 02/05/2008 21:32

Oh lucky you Beansprout! Think we have 52% for the tory guy. The bbc haven't bothered putting the other results up. Not much point really.

donnie · 02/05/2008 21:32

am liking your posts bluewolf.

The seaside collapse incident was not good for Neil's PR!

Paul Dacre is a repugnant little Zionist who allegedly calls all his staff 'cunt' several times a day ( so says Christina Odone and she's cool). So no tears for him round this way..

beansprout · 02/05/2008 21:32

Grauniad website (but of course!! )

DefinitelyNotMARINAWheeler · 02/05/2008 21:33

nkf a large swathe of Bromley is also where public sector workers who can't afford Hackney, Southwark, Islington etc end up
Ditto Bexley "the brighter borough" apparently

pooka · 02/05/2008 21:34

See I love London, thing being a Londoner is way preferable to being from Kent. My mother is the same (and makes full full use of the lovely freedom pass).

I have no choice about living here - was born here and DH has a local business 10mins away. But I did get away for 5 years of university.

foxinsocks · 02/05/2008 21:34

oh an upfront megalomaniac. That's ok then!

not in my book it aint.

Where's MP? Has she passed out?

bluewolf · 02/05/2008 21:35

I love the way everyone is getting edgy about whether they live in london properly or not. Now it's Boris's manor we'll all be claining to live in Inner Kent

beansprout · 02/05/2008 21:35

I think her battery died.

DefinitelyNotMARINAWheeler · 02/05/2008 21:35

her liver battery conked out foxy

pooka · 02/05/2008 21:36

Actually that's very true Marina. Is easy to forget.
Is Bexley really known as "the brighter borough"? Better than "Bromley, Clean and Green" I suppose.

DefinitelyNotMARINAWheeler · 02/05/2008 21:36

LOL Bluewolf. We already have that, it is called Gravesend.

nkf · 02/05/2008 21:36

I shall live in a virtual London, a parallel universe London where no-one has ever heard of Boris.

I think I shall have another drink. Meant to be working but too miserable.

beansprout · 02/05/2008 21:36

I live in Ken's manor. No doubt he'll be up the library next week then.

beansprout · 02/05/2008 21:37

"Bromley, Clean and Green". Are you having a larf?

talilac · 02/05/2008 21:37

In actual fact, I seem to remember I live in Middlesex not London at all.. I think we should have our own Mayor.

nancy75 · 02/05/2008 21:37

donnie, can i ask you to clarify what you meant by
"Paul Dacre is a repugnant little Zionist "

foxinsocks · 02/05/2008 21:37

LOL at MP and her battery. Took me a while to realise you meant laptop (where is my mind tonight).
