brilliant!

OverMyDeadBody · 19/04/2008 12:56

Give it six months and the price will have doubled, at least, mark my words.

Heated · 19/04/2008 12:58

Was waiting to see how long it took!

soapbox · 19/04/2008 12:59

Do you think MN will become the modern equivalent of the 'Delia effect'?

OP posts:
bonkerz · 19/04/2008 13:02

that is FAB! The power of mumsnet!! Waitrose should be givning mumsnet a percentage!

southeastastra · 19/04/2008 13:05

they were discussing it on the vanessa feltz show on radio london too this morning. one waitrose said they're discontinuing it though.

SlartyBartFast · 19/04/2008 13:07

off to waitrose today, to join the stampede

lackaDAISYcal · 19/04/2008 13:12

lol, they will be discontinuing it as bottom cream and re-branding as face cream before long.

NewMum2Be · 01/05/2008 16:34

Just asked (I work at Waitrose) and the price isn't going up. Hurrah for cheeks everywhere. New stock is arriving over the weekend too. I'll be joining you ladies in the queue to grab a tub!

Pixel · 01/05/2008 20:03

Lol, One of dh's workmates rang him to say "I'm in Waitrose, what's the name of this stuff you were on about?" (after I'd read out newspaper article which mentioned MN. They are obv short of topics of conversation where he works). Apparently her teenage daughter was cowering in embarrassment hissing "Mum, stop saying BUM CREAM in the middle of the shop"..

bossybritches · 01/05/2008 20:07

smug emoticon

Ahem...I happen to have 3 spare tubs if anyones is interested???

Having posted my spies everywhere I now have 5 tubs!!! I'm on one saving the second but will pass the others on to those in need!!!

(AND I won't charge the Ebay going rate of 12 bleeding pounds would you believe )

At this rate MNHQ is going to charge companies for product placement for the MN effect not the Delia effect!

MrsCarrot · 01/05/2008 20:08

I bought some of that for ds a few weeks ago. You put it on your face?

missorinoco · 01/05/2008 20:10

there's none in my waitrose.
does sommerfields have any smoothies left?

OracleInaCoracle · 01/05/2008 20:11

lol at cosmetic surgery expert being sceptical, well he was hardly going to endorse it!

TsarChasm · 01/05/2008 20:12

So does this mean everyone is putting the expensive stuff they had on bottoms now?

Lol to think that babies are getting 60 quid creams on their bots while mum nicks theirs.

bossybritches · 01/05/2008 20:14

mrs C -only at night & the merest sheen over the face. Not sure if its working yet but it feels great!! (very dry skin)

Working well on the dry hands & feet too!!

WorriedAboutFanjo · 01/05/2008 20:18

How funny!

BreevandercampLGJ · 01/05/2008 20:19

While some complained that it left their skin spotty or greasy, another mum gushed: "I have taken to putting it on twice a day, I am eighteen again!"

I do not farking gush, and and and my DH is mortified at the idea of me being quoted in the Daily Hate.

Bossy, may I buy one of your tubs? There is a Waitrose in the next town, but I rarely go there, and would like to try this on my very dry skin.
