They have arrested her on perverting the course of justice - which i think means lying to the police under oath doesnt it?

Is it at all possible that they knew where she was all the time?

Perhaps cahnnel 4 should now re-show the documentary on shannons family and see how it is received knowing what we know.

Yes she may be guilty of a crime indeed she may but that does not make her less human in feelings, she has lost all her kids and her boyfriend (however desirable he may not be to us, she obviously cared for him)

Trolley, it's a question of degree. If someone I knew was accused of child rape, I wouldn't let them babysit my child; nor would I stand in a public place proclaiming their guilt as though it were an established fact.

You say what she has done is evil - so please, tell us, WHAT has she done? Are you in some amazing position to hold all the facts about this case? We know what she has BEEN charged with - but not the detail of exactly what they claim she has done.

The child was not harmed. in any way apparently. Certainly no more than her apparently dubious upbringing had already harmed her. Did she even know she had been "kidnapped" ?

Well you are entitled to your opinionj Trolly - there is more information about her bad parenting skills available (from a huge amount of sources) than any other.

Shannon and the kids are the real innocents here. The mother made a grave misjudgement that she is lucky to emerge from like this but is guilty of huge irresponsioblty and neglect.

Might I suggest that it would be Shannon Matthews who will need a new identity, not the person who arranged her notoriety.

What Shannon (and the other children involved) needs now are the facts and for the trial to go ahead. What they do not need is for this crazy witchhunt against their mother from outsiders. To be honest I think you are making things worse for Shannon and the other children and in view of charges being made should leave it alone and wait for the trial.

It has never been a jury, it is not a court room, and if that is the case then most of the threads and topics within mumset need to be removed.

You don't actually have any facts to back up your repeated assertion that KM is on benefits. You know perfectly well you don't have any factual basis for this belief, otherwise you would have mentioned any inside info by now. All you or any of us know is that her partner has a job so the benefits thing is unlikely, to put it mildly.

If you do have evidence, why not share it with everyone, rather than just repeating an unjustified assertion.

There is enough shit to throw at the woman without inventing anything.
