we need to get busy doing a survey of fishmongers.

We need to establish whether or not they are able to purchase a computer for each room, support a large family, buy crates of beer, run a car, purchase all of asdas easter egg line, and whether their partners use mumsnet.

Once we have collated all the info, we shall be able to conclude whether or not there was any outside financial assistance given to this family as well as their social class..

how do you figure out if someone can afford a computer for each room?my dh's computer is worth over £1000 but he built it himself for about £200.mine was built from bits of his old one.but to the outside world it would look like we have 2 decent computers.

i have 2. one my BIL built from bits and pieces. its not currently set up, as need a new wire to connect it from the tower to the monitor.

May be the fishmonger was a part time computer engineer?

well we need to be firstly doing a survey to see if fishmongers have the intellect with which to 'build' a 2nd computer from bits.

well,if he was unemployed before becoming a fishmnger then he probably did loads of computer courses as thats what they seem to be sending everyone on at the moment.cos theres loads of work in IT

well if hadn't worked with fish he should have been able to get a good job networking computers - to get one working in every room - and connected to the internet? - would take a bit of doing.
