I was like that ,was paranoid about being too small and loved it if people noticed I was pregnant.

MaeWest · 05/03/2008 19:23

I didn't show much at 5 months, and am fairly tall - was bloody annoying on public transport when I could have done with it being a bit more obvious

dizzydixies · 05/03/2008 19:26

am only 19wks and look like am fit to burst!

lou33 · 05/03/2008 19:29

i barely showed at all until i was 7 months with my first

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 05/03/2008 20:08

She does have a bump though, just not much of one! My 1st and 4th (I've had 3 years off since my 3rd) I was still flat-tummied at 5 months and not in maternity until 6 months.

But then I develop an enormous bump in a short space of time and get rewarded with hideous stretch-marks.

msappropriate · 05/03/2008 20:11

Do you think shes carrying on with the botox or will her skin start to sag?

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 05/03/2008 20:11

i am 5 months and bump no bigger than that

my butt is undoubtedly larger and legs ( and tits) but being tall helps

people tell me all the time how small it is but scan says fine- i think it is all in the height i am 5 '7.5

MoosMa · 05/03/2008 20:12

ALmummy, I had a basketball bump both times. I did look ridiculous, all skinny with a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE round sticky outy bump.

expatinscotland · 05/03/2008 20:13

she's 5ft., 11in and that's the farthest she's been with any pregnancy.

WinkyWinkola · 05/03/2008 21:02

I'm 6ft and my pregnancies didn't really show any significant bump until 7.5 months. I think there's a lot more room in the abdominal cavity if you're taller.

I suspect my flabby tummy muscles will show my next pgy much quicker mind!

nappyaddict · 05/03/2008 21:28

theres a photo of me on my profile at about 8 months pregnant. i didn't show til i was about 7 months.

Yep, its the tall thing. I was like that (am 5 ft 10) and was sent to hospital by the midwife (at 34 weeks)because I was so small for dates. Had a scan which showed I the baby was larger than average and gave birth to a 9lber 6 weeks later. No stretch marks, and wore size 12 ordinary jeans (done up!) until 37 weeks.

I am not trying to claim that I have the body of a goddess btw, just that I have a long torso and room for the bump to spread out!

I was not really showing that much at 5 months. None of my colleagues at work even knew I was pregnant until December & DS2 was born in the March!

princessosyth · 06/03/2008 17:31

Some people in my antenatal class were not much bigger than that at 9 months.

bundle · 06/03/2008 17:32

i think she looks really well

bigwombat · 06/03/2008 22:34

I'm 5ft 10 and didn't really show much with dd1, I am long in the body so lots of room! But dd1 was also pretty small (4lbs) so I didn't look very pregnant. Was slightly bigger with dd2.

Highlander · 09/03/2008 17:20

I was smaller than that at 5 months with Ds1

But looked like a beached whale with DS2 (but he was transverse)

pelvicflawed · 09/03/2008 19:24

My bump was always tiny (I'm an average size 12) - my neighbour - who waved to me each morning as I got in the car to go to work didn't even realise I was pregnant until I turned up with a baby!!! - I have a suspicion though that if we have a DC2 I might not be so 'lucky' as now on a bad day when I'm a bit bloated it can all go out and wide!!!!

Janni · 09/03/2008 19:27

ROFL @ the idea of not looking pregnant. Could rest a teapot on my belly at five months.

Twinkie1 · 09/03/2008 19:29

I was exactley like that

Twinkie1 · 09/03/2008 19:29

afer I ate my dinner last night!

I was very small with dd1, I had to tell people when I was almost 6 months pg as I didn't show much. Not the case with dd2 though!
