you won't know me either fran .. but congratulations and I am so happy for you and Molly.

I wish you all the love and joy we all feel every day with our children (I shall ignore the gripes for the moment)

You are a brave and inspirational character and I am sure you will be a brave and inspirational mummy

Great to hear from you in person - Congratulations and I'm so happy for you both.

FranLyon · 20/02/2008 22:18

Thank you all so much. I'm really touched. MN was such an immense source of support through it all - I feel I owe this place a great deal.

eleusis · 20/02/2008 22:32

No! You don't anybody anything. If anything SS owes you something... like maybe the opportunity give them all a good swift theraputic kick up the back side (theraputic for you of course, not them). We all come here and benefit from the collective wisdom of MN. It is free for everyone, including you.

yurt1 · 20/02/2008 22:36

Glad all is going well..... Congratulations.

ruty · 21/02/2008 08:22

So glad all is well Fran - well done you for getting through it all and doing the best for Molly.

fryalot · 21/02/2008 08:34

glad it's all going well, Fran

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2008 08:44

Another lurker very happy for you

Piffle · 21/02/2008 10:24

Twas a good thing indeed (collectively speaking) to have helped you through it Fran, you had unwavering support and belief on here. And the fact that you now have Molly to yourself proves everything we all knew anyway.
Just bloody chuffed you got what you wanted, even though you had to do so many things to get it, which you should not have had to do.

FranLyon · 21/02/2008 12:17

Thank you all - it's really lovely to hear from you all again. Many of your words have stuck in my mind over the last few months, and brought much needed comfort.

I'll always remember a post from you Squonk - you said "Fuck me, can this woman get no peace!" - it was so blunt, and true, and caught my mood exactly, you had me laughing for days

The next challenge is to be able to safely come back to the UK to visit family. I might be leaving that a wee while though

fryalot · 21/02/2008 12:38

I'm so glad I made you laugh at a bleak time, Fran.

Strangely enough, I am always known on here for my use of the word "fuck"

bossybritches · 21/02/2008 13:07

eleusis is so right Fran you don't owe MN/us anything.

That's the beauty of MN whether it's helping someone with a HUGE life-changing situation like yours or nappy rash & all points in between.

I heart MN

RosaIsRed · 21/02/2008 14:56

So pleased to hear of Molly's safe arrival and that things are going well. You have the heartfelt support of so many of us on Mumsnet Fran, and we all hope it won't be long before you can bring Molly home safely and be left in peace to get on with being her Mum.

nappyaddict · 21/02/2008 15:17

All the very best Fran! It is so lovely to hear from you and your dear little Molly. You are in my thoughts. I hope that MN can be there for you if you are ever feeling alone. I don't know where you are etc, but you have given up everything you know to have your precious Molly, so I hope you know we are here for you and hope to provide some support .

FranLyon · 23/02/2008 17:31

Hello all,

Just popping in between mammoth feeds (the 6 week growth spurt is well and truly upon us!!) to say thank you for all the kind words. As always, I'm touched by the wealth of support and compassion to be found on MN.

Fran and a very hungry Molly
