Mumsnet HQ why on earth aren’t you deleting these threads out of respect for the family? They’ve clearly stated the SM speculation on this case has caused them a great deal of upset, this is Mumsmet not the Daily Mail, don’t be part of the problem these threads are disrespectful and cruel.

Because a) what else is there to say, following the tragic outcome? And b) do posters have no shame queuing up to post about the death of a woman in tragic circumstances, following weeks of a barrage of intrusion for the family and this'd connected with her, in every way imaginable.

(I reported the minute the thread went up but MNHQ seem to be leaving it standing, despite deleting others).

I haven't been on every thread made - but feel free to check.

Where I was, I said exactly the same thing on each: this was a private tragedy that should not be pored over by random strangers unconnected to Nicola. This thread is not needed, following the confirmation of Nicola's death. As I predicted, it's turned into another forum for attacks & speculation. It's time to leave this family in peace.

Your post paints you in a really poor light - hopefully in real life, you're a kinder person.

There was nothing vicious at all about my comment to you but go off. I also don’t need your pity at all.

Everytime I’ve clicked on a thread about Nicola, I’ve seen your username somewhere in the comments. This has been on multiple threads. So why are you stating that you’re reporting this thread when it’s literally the nicest one that someone’s made about her?

People are interested and saddened by awful things that have happened to other people in the news and want to discuss how they feel about it. Gosh how terrible.

It's nothing to do with being 'nice'. It's not needed; a person has died in awful tragic circumstances; there is nothing more to be said.
Every thread set up has been filled with insensitive, incorrect and speculative comments.

And please stop repeating I posted on 'every thread'. I didn't. Where I did, I have been clear what I posted. I never once engaged in commentary on the case at hand.
