Terrible news for her family, especially those poor girls, I hope having some closure helps and they can begin to rebuild their lives in the near future.

Because a) what else is there to say, following the tragic outcome? And b) do posters have no shame queuing up to post about the death of a woman in tragic circumstances, following weeks of a barrage of intrusion for the family and this'd connected with her, in every way imaginable.

(I reported the minute the thread went up but MNHQ seem to be leaving it standing, despite deleting others).

I truly believe most of what has been posted needs to be deleted from everywhere to save those little girls from having to read not only vile accusations about their dad and family friends, but the slander about their mum. Especially from places like FB and Tiktok.

Mumsnet have gone deleting crazy lately - usually about anything remotely interesting.
Tbf this thread is all a bit pointless as there is nothing more to add now really, is there? Except perhaps a discussion about how missing person cases are dealt with by the police and media generally and the reasons why some cases are more high profile than others etc etc
