How sad for her. Apparently she was really looking forward to being a Mum and turning over a new leaf

allgonebellyup · 18/01/2008 10:24

oh no, how sad..

peatbogfaerie · 18/01/2008 10:25

poor love. hope she's left well alone for a while.

FoghornLeghorn · 18/01/2008 10:25

I posted this earlier on another thread.
I think she was further on than me and I am 3 months - she must've thought she was out of the worry phase.
So sad

Carmenere · 18/01/2008 10:25

Horrible for her to have it all over the front page of the tabloids

NomDePlume · 18/01/2008 10:30

According to Yahoo, they announced it in December when she was a month gone, I remember her 'people' saying that it was very early days and they were being cautious. I guess she must still have been in her 1st trimester.

It must awful to have it all over the papers

FoghornLeghorn · 18/01/2008 10:30

Oh I pressumed because it was announced that she must've been past 3 months

marina · 18/01/2008 10:31

Oh rotten luck for them both, sorry to hear this

NomDePlume · 18/01/2008 10:33

I can't help feeling like she was a little niaive to announce it so early and so publicly. I suppose it was inevitable that it would be splash all over if she miscarried. Poor girl

NomDePlume · 18/01/2008 10:33

splashed, sorry my typing is crap today

notalone · 18/01/2008 10:35

She was naive to announce it so early but I guess she was just excited.

Hope the press leave her in peace for a while now

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 18/01/2008 10:35

and 'naive'

tictacto · 18/01/2008 10:35

Oh poor, poor thing- and so public too. Her heart must be breaking and I bet her mother feels like shit too, after what she said.

NomDePlume · 18/01/2008 10:36

I think they waited the 12 weeks though didn't they. Didn't stop my miscarriage happening at 15 weeks when we'd told everyone we'd ever known.

SmartArse · 18/01/2008 10:41

Poor her. Hope the press get off her back and let her recover in her own time/way.

mylittletigre · 18/01/2008 10:52

very sad for her & partner

bookwormmum · 18/01/2008 10:53

I announced my pg before 12 wks was up (just), admittedly not as early as 1 month. Who actually knows so soon unless they've been TTC?

Poor girl .

SaggyOldBagpuss · 18/01/2008 10:54

So sad for them both

Hope they get the time to recover in peace without the press dogging their everystep.

TheHockeyandtheIvy · 18/01/2008 10:56

With celebrities, they normally end up being forced to announce it early because some hack has found out about it and it sounds better coming as a press release from the celeb than as constant rumours in the press.

Poor girl, how difficult for her, it is a hard enough thing for anyone to face let alone someone having to live it in the public eye.

Piffle · 18/01/2008 11:07

Due in June? I'm nearly 17 weeks and due early July so it must've been a pretty late m/c. How awful.
