I saw an advert for a book on the side of a bus stop this afternoon. It is a guide to stardom - I was thinking of rushing out to buy it in time for Christmas. Didn't recognise the man who had written it so I can't remember the author. May be it was a tv programme, not sure as I was driving, but for goodness sake what is it with people that they think fame and stardom are the answer? Why have people become so conceited that they think they have "got it"?

Who are these people who actually like Victoria Beckham and want to emulate her style?

But we had never heard of them before they were famous, so if they had never become famous they may still have become mad.

Lets face it - most women are mad anyway. The money and attention just makes it come to the surface.

Cammelia · 01/11/2007 15:13

Most of the very famous mad are men though EricL

EricL · 01/11/2007 15:17

Yeah - they must have been married.

figroll · 01/11/2007 15:21

Great book - I will hand my notice in tomorrow and in a week you will all be discussing Figroll's new found fame and fortune.

You will be discussing the size of my boobs and if they are real, whether I have had a facelift or whether I am just naturally gorgeous, who was that man I was with last night . . . (Oh yes it was my husband.)

Just what I always wanted.

Ooh - wossname, blonde woman who scribbled all over a blackboard on CBB.. dammit, I want to say Ulrika, not her... large woman...

Greensleeves · 01/11/2007 15:40

Supernanny, apparently. Jo Frost. I've heard she is a real hermit in RL, no friends, and really demanding and tyrannical when making programmes, sees herself as some sort of diva

I think Christine Hamilton would be mad whether she was famous or not, she'd be sitting in some parish hall somewhere, talking too loudly and annoying everyone and always wanting the lead part in the amateur dramatics.
