Poor little girl. At least her Dad left her somewhere where she would be found quickly - he must have wanted her to be safe.

Oh the poor girl, whats happened is anyones guess, perhaps the mother hasgone off with another man, and this is the husbands revenge

I wonder what has happened to the mother.

He should be dealt with though and doesnt deserve the child to leave her abandoned like that, bless her.

Why are they calling the poor child a stupid name like "pumpkin"? She has a proper name.

reallytired, they only called her Pumpkin at first, when they didn't know her name...and she must have been wearing Pumpkin Patch clothing (which is an expensive brand, well, over here, isn't it) going by the report!
How very sad, and hope the mother is o.k. and that they find the Dad and that the little girl is going to recover from this.

for the poor little girl, good that she's safe and being looked after well now though. Hope they find her parents soon.

The mother's body has been found in the boot of family car. Father is now being treated as prime murder suspect. But child's grandparents are en route from China to care for her.
