Yes so sad - I knew Jane as another mum at school - in the last few days of the last term (end of July) she was so poorly when she would come to collect her son - yet she struggled on. Her son was due to go into Year 6 tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family - and may she now rest in peace.

Oh Mae - how sad - her poor DS. I know it has been coming for a while but you are never ready for it to actually happen.

just heard this on the radio, my thoughts go out to her family and friends. clearly she touched so many people.

HorseyWoman · 04/09/2007 16:11

And remember when she was being accused of 'putting it on', simply because she had lived so long after the dx.

How very, very sad. I heard it on the radio this morning, and was completely shocked. I thought she'd keep winning her fight.

So, so sad about this, I've only just seen it.

So sad and such an inspiration to us all.
Life is very precious and she showed us all how to fight against all the odds...a true hero.

I really thought she would go on forever.

Her poor DH and children.

It is so so sad, as she was so young, and suffered so much.

I feel so much for her family, but hope they can take comfort for their pride in her courage and also that for her the suffering is over and she can rest in peace.

She was so brave.
