that is so sad. she was a truly inspirational woman

What an inspirational woman, bless you Jane and family.

Her legacy should be continued research into this cruel disease and we should all do what we can to help. My Mum's being treated for breast cancer at the moment so this is very close to my heart, and, I'm sure, to many others.

fryalot · 04/09/2007 11:12

I was just thinking about her lady Because of MIL's recent diagnosis, her name came into my head as someone who's always had a fighting spirit. How sad for her family.

Lets hope those who implied she was less ill than she was reported to be, feel good and guilty now!

I thought I would add this as it is so beautiful and moving. Even Gordon Brown has mentioned her in his breifing.

She may have gone but she will never be forgotten

zippitippitoes · 04/09/2007 12:12

Sad news indeed. I really had hoped she would be able to beat the cancer. We just buried a young relative yesterday who was only diagnosed a few months ago. Very, very sad - don't know what else to say.

Chickhick · 04/09/2007 12:32
