Fuck. I was so hoping this was not going to be the outcome of this.

What could have happened? If she went wandering off and got lost, she would not have died. Could someone have taken her?

Cherryade8 · 13/08/2019 12:55

@angell84 there are lots of predators, poisonous snakes etc in the Malaysian jungle Sad

Bluntness100 · 13/08/2019 13:03

This is really tragic and very unusual. You'd hope as she was naked near the waterfall she was going in she simply fell to where she was found and it's not something was done to her.

This is so sad - it is likely to be her. Too much of a coincidence not to be. I hope nobody else was involved in her disappearance...

Drinkandknowthings · 13/08/2019 13:15

I just heard on the Irish news and there was a detail included that points to her not just wandering off. But I don’t want to include it in case it’s not true.

Gogreen · 13/08/2019 13:17

I don’t understand why they are so adamant that she was not abducted, who leaves via window!

Poor girl and poor family, my heart hit my throat when I first heard it on the radio, such a horrible tragedy!

DejaVoodoo · 13/08/2019 13:18

So sad and hopefully they will get better answers than the police's last theory that "a genie took her"

That was the opinion of a shaman, not the theory of police. Hundreds of people were deployed in the search for Nora. I hate this foreign police bashing.

Goonergirl14 · 13/08/2019 13:22

So sad, her poor family.

Sunshine1239 · 13/08/2019 13:23

The police have said the body was fine banwd and in a place that wasn’t easily accessible. I think this suggests third party involved

It had apparently already been searched by police

Sunshine1239 · 13/08/2019 13:23

Found

WeshMaGueule · 13/08/2019 13:31

So sad and hopefully they will get better answers than the police's last theory that "a genie took her" hmm

Evidence? else I'll read that statement as verging on the racist.

IAskTooManyQuestions · 13/08/2019 13:34

These threads are just rubber necking full of pseudo grief as if the person were known to them.

Creepy, attention seeking and inappropriate

So sad and hopefully they will get better answers than the police's last theory that "a genie took her" hmm

^^ that was actually a shamen , not the police, at lease if you are going to quote, get the correct source.

DejaVoodoo · 13/08/2019 13:39

It's OK for you to post your tuppen'orth though eh, IAskTooMany?

And if you can't feel sad/sorry for the suffering of someone you don't know then you lack empathy.

Justaboy · 13/08/2019 13:43

I can only suppose that sad tho this outcome was, and I' didnt think they'd be a good one, at least they know that shes dead and that her body will now come back home.

Whatever the police do or dont find.

Pannalash · 13/08/2019 13:45

No need for that Iask

BenWillbondsPants · 13/08/2019 13:46

@IAskTooManyQuestions it absolutely was not intended like that. I've been following Nora's plight and I'm desperately sorry that this is the outcome.

I'll report and ask that the thread be removed. I really want it to be respectful.

OP posts:
angell84 · 13/08/2019 13:52

@IAskTooManyQuestions why don't you bog off. This is current news and is relevant to be talked about on here

Bluntness100 · 13/08/2019 13:57

I don't think there is any need for arguments, have a bit of respect.

Anyway, I hope this was just she fell. She only arrived at thr resort late evening thr day before she disappeared, they literally checked in and went to bed, and she was gone the next morning, she was excited to see thr waterfall, and that's where she was found, but I've no idea how she'd find something a Mile away unless it was signposted.

If she just went to see it, and fell and due to the inhospitable location they didn't see her on the original search, it would be a much better outcome than if something nefarious happened to her.

JinglingHellsBells · 13/08/2019 14:12

@BenWillbondsPants I hate threads like this because they smack of voyeurism.

You cannot be heartbroken over someone you have never met .

You can be really sad for the family as any parent will be or anyone with a heart will be.

It demeans the whole thing to make it into a 'chat' thread.

If this was you- god forbid- would you want a whole load of bored mums with nothing better to do, chew over your grief on an anon forum?

I doubt it.

BenWillbondsPants · 13/08/2019 14:23

@JinglingHellsBells. If you're spoiling for an argument please take it elsewhere. This is not the thread.

OP posts:
angell84 · 13/08/2019 14:24

@JinglingHellsBells it is a news story. It is relevant.
I think that she might have been taken. Poor girl.

magicstar1 · 13/08/2019 14:29

I have to agree with @JinglingHellsBells. This is a thread with people spouting theories about what they think happened to the poor girl. It's complete voyeurism and I'm reporting it too - hopefully it'll be removed.

Flower777 · 13/08/2019 14:37

So tragic. The poor family. My heart goes out to them.

angell84 · 13/08/2019 14:49

@magicstar1 that is such a bizarre way of thinking. This same topic is on many other discussion boards. You have a very weird way of thinking.
They have now confirmed that it is her
