GGG, have just read the article and found it incredibly emotive and truly from the heart.

You have a beautiful family and Maude will never be forgotten.

BreeVanDerCamp · 26/06/2007 16:29

I gave it to my colleague to read, she had to stop and take it home to read as she was crying so much.

Giving it to the receptionist to read before the important visitors arrived, may on reflection have been a mistake.

Flower3554 · 26/06/2007 16:54

I bought the newspaper on my way to a meeting this afternoon and have just sat and read it.

It is a moving piece and wonderfully written.

I now know that tears can remove the most waterproof of mascara's.

If anyone would like me to post the article to them I'm happy to do so.

AuldAlliance · 26/06/2007 17:08

Flower, I'd love a copy, as I can't get the Independent where I live. Let me know how to contact you....

I have rung them and left a message asking if they could let me know when the article is likely to be on line as there are lots and lots of Nola's friends in diffrent parts of the world dying to read the article who cannot get access to a paper copy.
