'Personally, the thought of having her for a parent is horrifying' (Can't be bothered to trawl through this thread again to find out who said it)
Rather her than my waste of space for a mother!!
Just to give you a taste of why
-
At the age of 5 I was getting myself up in the mornings, getting dressed, having breakfast and going to school (crossing a busy main road) while mother stayed in bed.
-
At the age of 7, doing the above for myself and my 5 year old sister.
She very rarely went out and bought her own cigarettes, it was usually me that had to do it.
-
I had to do the weekly shopping from about the age of 8. I also did most of the cooking, made cups of coffee, I even got asked to light her cigarettes on the gas cooker because she couldn't be bothered to get off her lazy backside.
-
From the age of 9 I was sexually abused by my step father
-
The eldest of my half brothers was born when I was 10, it was me that got up in the night to make a feed for him, change his nappies etc.
-
I did the same when my next half brother ca me along 18months later.
-
At the age of 12½ my step father was sent to prison for 6 months for the abuse (he had also started abusing my younger sister just before he was found out).
-
My sister and I were also physically abused so badly that there was hardly a day go by when we didn't go to school with bruises.
-
When he was released from prison my mother decided to take him back and have my sister and I put into care.
-
While she was still married to my step father she had an affair with a man younger than I was at the time. She'd been to her gp because she was depressed, he told her she had to get out of the house, so I let her move in with me for a few months as I had a spare room. While she was there she moved her boyfriend in and stole from me.
-
Two years ago my 2nd half brother died from a brain hemorrage at the age of 26, my mother didn't even contact me to let me know. She has my address and telephone number, I don't have either for her, she is constantly moving.
-
My grandfather (her dad) died this time last year, the family had written instructions from grandad's solicitor that she was not to be told when he died and if she did find out, that she was not allowed or even welcome at his funeral.
During the 12 years that she was responsible for me she hardly worked, yet always managed to have enough money to go out drinking at least once or twice a week. There was always a string of different men in the house, I am convinced that she used to prostitute herself.
Question - Who would you rather have for a parent?
a) the person that was supposed to be my mother
or
b) Katie Price, who from what you see on tv and in the press very obviously loves her children,
So what? she gets her 'baps' out for a few pictures.
It's people like my step dad that make the world the place it is, his spell in prison for the abuse wasn't his first, and I know his so called 're-habilitation' and 'therapy' after he was released did not work.
Whatever you think of KP there really is no justification for being mean, spiteful and downright evil about her and her family (I'm not just referring to comments on this site). I really do wish them well and hope Peter gets better soon.
