Sometimes it seems the obvious is not so obvious to so many..

What? There might be criminals in the family but they didn't burn their own home and family down. If she wanted to protect her children and she'd voiced concern, she wanted help.

What else is "obvious"?

They said I was at real risk of arson from exP, the fire brigade came round and fitted an extra fire alarm above my front door they said they would give me a council house if they could so I could move, and 5 years ago I would have got one, but there just aren't any available.

Bloody sad state of affairs, isn't it. Poor, poor woman and babies. My heart breaks for her

They even went to a nearby house to watch as the tragedy unfolded.
Not only have they taken 4 babies lives. They've destroyed their family. I can't get it out my head the devastating news Michelle is going to hear when she comes around and is conscious enough to take it in. It just doesn't bare thinking about, plus they've also ruined their own families lives.
Apparently she went to the housing just days before absolutely petrified and was told She wasnt at risk.

TDH I Am not Local so we don’t know what the ‘obvious is ‘ and even if we make a guess it would be cruel and inappropriate to speculate .

Given the limited reporting in the Mum I would hazard a guess that she might not survive anyway given the nature of her injuries

It's literally maybe 10 minutes up the road from me and it's absolutely awful 😭 seeing children looking so sad at losing their friend and the families other family members passing by the same etc. I would hate to be that poor mum when she wakes up I really would. The community support has been absolutely amazing, shows the real Salford/Manchester. I'm pray every evening for those children, for the older son and his friend who managed to get out and their mummy ❤️

Even if those killed had all been violent, adult criminals, or perhaps just related to violent criminals, it would still be an horrific crime.

I get so annoyed about the 'I know something you don't know' brigade. Either say it or zip it.

Well, as I said. There's an 18 yr old son too..

The 18 year old (who I suspect was the target) didn't even live in the house, did he? So they knew they were going to kill innocent children.

All the news refers to the four children who died and the sixteen year old who escaped with a friend. Haven't read anything about an older son.

I assumed the Dad in prison was in some ways the "target" - if it was something to do with him and to punish him.

This has been on my mind since it happened. Just awful. The people accused of this deserve everything that’s coming their way in prison.

There is an 18 year old son but he hasn't been identified in the papers.
