Chocolateface, I have one DH but we are seperated, I have a new partner now (toyboy) but even if we get a divorce DH1 will be DH1.
I confuse a lot of people her, sorry.

chocolateface · 14/04/2007 00:30

That's brilliant, so much better than an ex blah whatever.

Yeah, come to think of it, in Aust some shops have a few 'Sweet free checkouts' with big signs up so you kow which ones they are. A great idea.

hana · 14/04/2007 00:34

sorry thought i twas a typo

chocolateface · 14/04/2007 00:36

I think alot of online shopping comes straight form the storage bit at the back, so never goes out on the shelves.

AspartameGoddessOfCatAstrophe · 14/04/2007 00:36

kerry, I have had to get things refunded a couple of times, but they are always pretty good about it. and I find the quality of the produce it so bad in the stores, its no worse with delivery, and sometimes better. (although perhaps you shop at a nice little greengrocer? We don't have anything like than near us )

AspartameGoddessOfCatAstrophe · 14/04/2007 00:37

chocolate face, ocado/waitrose def say thats how they do it - straight from storage. But they are ££££££y!

chocolateface · 14/04/2007 00:38

DH1 and I have been together 22ish years,(marred 15) he is the father of our beautiful boys, my best friend and my north, (I am lost and without direction without him) He is my firmest ally and my voice of reason, he gives me wings to fly and keeps me grounded when need be, he has pulled me back from the edge more times then I can count and I can climb any mountain with him in my life.
We made two children and we will raise them together.....but the only way to save our relationship was to stop being a couple although we will always be a family.
Leaving him was by far the hardest thing I have ever done, but was something I had to do.
refuse to call him Ex as that would devalue him, our sons and the time we were together.
He is and always will be the love of my life, but it confuses the hell out of everyone here when I say DH1. sorry.

chocolateface · 14/04/2007 00:53

Now I'm really confused.

kimi · 14/04/2007 00:55

DH1 and I split up last may.
I have a new partner.
But DH1 will always be DH1, if i remarry then my new partner will be DH2

In Australia the cashier packs your bags as she scans your shopping, leaving you free to play/entertain/strangle toddler.

kimi · 14/04/2007 01:01

I still think duck tape i the best option

kimi · 14/04/2007 09:47

Saturday AM. Bottle of wine WAS a bad idea

whomovedmychocolate · 14/04/2007 19:47

Kimi- you may well jest about buying stun guns at Tesco, but Asda on the other hand....

Well Asda is owned by Walmart, the world's largest arms dealer.

Seriously, when they tap the back pocked in the adverts, I always think 'suicide bomber'.

Walmart is evil

Sorry that was totally off topic but I really, really detest them.

whomovedmychocolate · 14/04/2007 19:48

There are two different things - duck tape is grey and is made under the tradename Duck, DUCT tape is a plumbing tape you can get.

Of course what you really need is GAFFER TAPE.

Cue Star Wars joke: why is Gaffer tape like the force?
It has a dark side, it has a light side and it holds the universe together.

Whomoved, thank you for pointing out where I have been gong wrong in the taping up of my children, little bleeders kept getting free before I had done the whole shop. I will at once go and get gaffa tape, (from Tesco not Asda i promise)

Also love the joke and will go tell it to DP and DS1 (both geeky about starwars)

whomovedmychocolate · 15/04/2007 18:46

I subsequently spoke to DH about this and he says to tell you all 'you can get DUCT tape in duck yellow but not DUCK tape in yellow.' Well there you go, you DO learn some (inane) information every day.
