Sue Radford gives birth to baby number TWENTY and said it's her last

Did anyone see Sue Radford has had 20th baby! Quite amazing really.

They say is definitely the last. But note Noel won't have a vasectomy.

Wow. She must be exhausted!!! Shock

Strange I for some reason find it... odd? I don’t really know how to feel about this. Although I suppose it was the norm once in our history to have many many children (ten or more)... Hmm

Sorry haven't read all of the posts. £4k tax credits which is about £75k salary!! I have read that right haven't I.

Having said that what on earth does having 20 babies do to your body.

Agree with PP - its hording in a horror film sort of way

MeatAndPotato · 12/10/2017 16:08

I couldn’t even imagine 😳😐... After only having one DS and seeing what it has done to me, I have no idea how shes managed it. Mentally or physically!

Want2bSupermum · 19/10/2017 02:57

We have three and one of them has SEN. I will say that the focus on here about reading with your DC is misguided. My elder two are 7 and 4. They are both reading independently and they read to me. I clean up the kitchen or make breakfast while they read at the bar opposite me.

What gets tricky is having enough time to properly be there for so many children as they go through puberty and figure out 'life'.

SuperBeagle · 19/10/2017 03:34

I pity the children, and that's all I have to say about this.

Msqueen33 · 19/10/2017 04:05

Each to their own but this isn't a typical "larger" family. I know someone who has ten and she likes the attention that comes with it. I don't know how you'd do it without the older kids helping. How do you get them all into bed for instead?!

Protectingmydaughterfromfilth · 19/10/2017 04:06

Poor kids being raised on a production line, shoved in bunk beds & emotionally forgotten. Always reminds me of poor Kevin McAllister, on Home Alone....

How on earth they’ve evaded Social Services I have no idea

Protectingmydaughterfromfilth · 19/10/2017 04:08

TheKidsAre They not though, not really. They’ll still be entitled to Child Benefit, like everyone else is. They admitted they receive that. Which is £20 per child. I know that was capped at 3 kids, but only for new families. So they’ll still be receiving 400 per week which when you’re buying food in bulk will be plenty for that and bills, and prob a good chunk towards Clothing too.

Protectingmydaughterfromfilth · 19/10/2017 04:13

MyDogisTheBest Actually Child Benefit WAS limited to 3 children, but only for new families from 2015. Was brought in just before it was implemented for Tax Credits

I think the PP meant she doesn't believe in school reading homework, because after all it is pretty meaningless in a text-rich home environment. I don't actually think the Radfords do provide that, (there doesn't seem to be many toys or books in their home) but it is not correct to say she doesn't believe in reading

I've never really "got" the idea that a man "should" have a vasectomy.

DH and I don't want any more children but I'd never ask him to have a v.

I don't want to get my tubes tied so we use a combo of condoms and the rhythm method.

Have done for 9 years!

I'd never pressure anyone to have an operation if they didn't want one.
