Snakes

I can cope with spiders, snakes and other poisionous things.

But the fs and ts - I rather die (and i ain't exaggerating).

ITs my worst nightmare come true.

Gingerbear, I had to do similar with a huge huntsman watching me from the inside of the door....

Then Sunday, I had a close encounter with one on the inside of our screen door as I opened the front door....dh took dd & the pup & ran into the bedroom, shouting quick quick, run! Leaving me to 'remove' it.

Oh Please. I am so SICK of the constant "wildlife" stories about Australia.

I grew up in Oz, and lived there till we moved here 8 years ago, and while we did have toads in our backyard, we just whacked them over the head, or stuck them in the freezer to get rid of them .

Honest to G*d, the wildlife is so not an issue in Australia and I am so sick of these LCD stories!

yep cane toads we used to go driving at night to squash them and the other thing is the HEAT.yep queensland cane toads brought in to eat a bug but they went into overdrive mass reproduction they are slowly moving southwards down the east coast. ugly but squishy.
