She's made the effort to visit those injured but she is not warm. It's a bit stilted.
Nothing like the warmth / empathy of Harry and William.

I've also heard it said that HM Queen has a huge presence....which vanishes completely the minute a TV camera is turned on her. So - bear in mind that the snippets you saw on the news may have appeared stilted, but may not have accurately reflected the visit as a whole.

Plus - with the greatest respect to Ariana Grande (of whom I hadn't heard before last week Blush), remember that pop stars come and go....but meeting the Queen is something that they'll be able to tell their grandchildren about. I agree that they all seemed really thrilled that she had come to see them.

I am a total republican but she is the Head of State and her visiting means something.
