Birth seven minutes after first contraction

Did I hear that right? Was just on news on radio 1.

these are the sort of news stories that frighten me! I would like a gentle, maybe 2 hour, labour please (like DS2 )

actually I'm not sure which sort scare me most - fast labours, or MASSIVE babies

She must of thought she was giving birth to a bullet train.

As my labours seem to last weeks - I'm very jealous!

Saw a woman give birth on TV (Home birth diaries) on all fours and it was a whopping 11lbs 10oz!!! No pain relief, imagine if that had been a 7 minute birth!!!!!

Flumpy, think you are talking about a friend of mine there...Doris...one amazing lady...not because she gives birth easily or without painrelief, just generally speaking

My father was born at home in 40 minutes start to finish.

He was her third baby, however.

When I went into labour w/DD2, I took a long shower, shaved my legs and moisturised, even.

I also put on makeup and styled my hair.

By the time I got to hospital, I was 9cm dilated and gave birth w/i half an hour of arrival.

I also wore makeup for all my knee surgeries and manicured my nails and did my hair.

I thought, 'What if I die during surgery? At least I won't die ugly.'

fannyanny...i remember seeing the news about that mahusive Baby and thinking ouch...at the time ms was about 4 month old and possibly still a bit under 17Ibs and he seemed definately to big to be pushed out at that time, lol...

Now that's birthing reflex. Wow!

Where's Katz? Her DD2 was born very fast too!
