Is it just me or is The Observer a load of shite these days?

I refer in particular to irritating posed photos in 'Food' magazine,the tripe that is rehashed endlessly in the 'Woman' one and their fixation into turning their journalists into 'personalities' (ie Mariella Frostybum,Kathryn Phlegm,Polyfilla
Vernon and that irritating Scot-Euan O'Fergusan-Doonray wotsit.)

Do you think the main reason is that the journalists get the holidays for free and of course they would rather have a stay in a top celebrity skiing safari hotel than a night in my favourite Lake Distict campsite?

Actually the reason they did the article on Disappearing World was that they wanted to go to these places before they are gone, so they can say in 20 years time "You really had to see X while it still existed".

I suppose I am not surprised that travel journalists have a response to trot out when people question them on their flagrant use of fossil fuels.
