This is terrible, AFP are saying that hostages have been taken at a concert hall.

It's not at all clear yet what happened, but it does look like simultaneous attacks. Casualty figures not confirmed, some outlast saying four, others putting it rather higher.

Dreadful news.

Sky are saying reports of 18 dead in one location

Just said 18 on BBC - quoting French police.

I'm switching between each news channel, absolutely awful news.

Does anyone know if the France v Germany football match has finished? It will be chaos with that number of people pouring out. (Sorry if this is nowhere near the attacks, I saw it mentioned briefly on BBC news)
