The average weight of handbags in the UK has reached a back-breaking 3?lbs (1.6kg).
Bags of freedom or a heavy burden?

The article lists various common handbag items including bottle opener and tin opener

I have been reunited with my small handbag this year due to DCs getting older. I can fit one nappy in my bag alongside purse, car keys, phone, sunglasses, DDs hairbands and a selection of screwed up tissues, car park tickets & receipts.

I do cheat though. I have a full change bag in the car with nappies and various changes of clothes for all DCs as we tend to get VERY wet and VERY muddy a lot.

Mine is huge I could probably set up my own mobile MASH unit if need be.

I recently joined a gym. I seem to need so much more stuff than anyone else in my bag/locker.

tinygang - MASH Unit sounding good, quick snooze on a camp bed would set me up mid-shopping spree. Where can I get this bag? Is it from Boden?
