Breaking News - Britney files for divorce

Poor thing. I feel so sorry for her. Her life must have been hellish for the last couple of years.

The world has been sitting and waiting for this and now she's going to be splashed all over the magazines and papped even more.

I bet K-Fed's rubbing his hands with glee about his pay-off. Although on the plus side he'll disappear along with his shocking albums.

From what I remember of the media coverage at the time, his pg ex was actually VERY gracious over the whole thing. I'll bet she's pissing her pants with laughter now.

I think she looks amazing. i know she has been preg for the best part of the last 2 years, but since she met him she let herself go a bit. he seemed to drag her down really badly.
I think it is better that it is over now, while the tots are little to really understand and be hurt by it. I know it may upset them when they are older but ykwim.
i just hope she considers the fact he has children now she is single again and diesnt involve loads of new men in their lives.

I'm with HappyMumof2's earlier post on this one. I know he's a total dickhead but to an extent, BS has chewed him up and spat him out as much as he has her.

She'd probably had enough of being a pop princess/puppet, wanted to have a few 'wild' years doing 'what she wanted' (i.e. smoking fags, drinking beer and shagging) and KF was thick enough and naive enough to join in.

Well, Britney did once nearly fall over carrying the baby - the only mother in history ever to make that little mistake.

In fairness there was that whole 'driving away with the baby on your lap' incident. That doesn't quite strike me as a reason to seek custody though. I'm assume he's trying to force her into a bigger settlement in a Heather stylee. (Perhaps he and Heather should get together after this?)

the first thing that crossed my mind this mornign on hearing Fed-Ex was going for custody was because he did sign a prenup, but if he gets the children then he would get more money from her! he's all about the money i think.

Fed-Ex and his partying in vegas with dope and loose women? Custody? I think not. I don't think I've seen a single photo of him with the children.

Can you imagine how awful her life must have been for the last 2 years? I feel so sorry for her, despite her massive wealth. [trying to feel sorry for her despite her huge wealth emoticon]

Britney did do a prenup with K-Fed the amount of money he got in case of a divorce increased with each child she had, so not suprising he got her pregnant as soon as he could. So glad she's finally getting rid of him

I'm just surprised it took her so long. She's an amazing performer, a great looking girl, two kids now, young enough that she's got her whole life ahead of her. She's well rid.
